*PG13 - tiny bit*
The night sky was incredibly clear. It had been raining and cloudy for days, so the sudden starry sky was very welcome, especially tonight. Pit lay down on the picnic blanket they had used for dinner a few hours ago. He in was lying across Dark Pit's bare chest, starring up at the stars above them. They barely felt the cool evening breeze over their naked bodies. The heat from each other was enough to ignore it completely.
"Do you see that star?" "You're going to have to be more specific..." Dark Pit pointed to a section of the sky with a single star. "That's my favourite one." "Why that one?" "It's easy to pick out, plus it's not alone." Pit turned to get a better look at sure enough, two stars of similar size looked back at him. "Heh, I guess it is isn't," Pit whispered, hugging Dark Pit's torso tighter. "I think I...know now." "Hmm?" "The reason we look similar is because... we wouldn't be here otherwise." Pit mumbled, thinking out loud. "I guess not... I'm glad then- oh!" Pit sat up quickly, "What?!" "I saw a shooting star..." Dark Pit said, closing his eyes. "Aw I missed it..."
"What did you wish for?" Pit asked, eyes now glued to the sky. "A wish?" "You have to wish on a shooting star!" Dark Pit smirked, "Really?" Pit continued to look up, determined to see one himself. "Why don't you tell me what your wish is and I'll wish for that?" Dark Pit suggested. "You think that'll work?" "Who knows?" "Well I wish for...actually, I don't think I need it." The black haired boy raised and eyebrow, but let it go pretty quickly. "We should...put some clothes on before we fall asleep."
Pit felt content as he listened to the sound of Dark Pit's breathing as he slept. He could never have pictured being here, but he didn't want it any other way. The sky was becoming lighter as the sunrise crept over it. It started to drown out the stars, but Pit could still see the pair Dark Pit had shown him before. He felt his eyelids grow heavy, but just before he gave in, a streak of light flew above them. Pit gasped as he just barely caught sight of a shooting star. He closed his eyes and smiled before whispering;
"I wish... that we'll never forget this moment...ever.
