Pit was alone. He couldn't see anything. Darkness swallowed him slowly. "Pittoo?" He called out, his voice echoing in the space around him. He got no response. He never did. "Someone...please..." he cried, hugging his knees close to his chest. "H-help..."

The light angel awoke suddenly. He sat up and grabbed his chest. He struggled to get his breath back. Tears streamed down his cheeks from the fright. "A nightmare?" he thought, wiping his face. "What's wrong?" Dark Pit asked as he yawned. Pit looked over at his angel, a wave of relief washed over him. He was happy to have him close. "I'm sorry I woke you up. It's nothing," he said, lying back down beside him. The dark angel looked at him with tired eyes, "You're crying." He wiped Pit's cheek with a concerned look. "I told you, it's fine. It was just a bad dream..." Pit trailed off. Dark Pit wrapped his arms around him, bringing him in close.

"Have you been getting that nightmare often?" Pittoo asked quietly after he had heard a description of it from Pit. "No, that was first time," he answered honestly. Dark Pit sighed and stroked his brown mop, "Then it probably won't happen again." Pit was worried, he hated nightmares. He buried his face into Dark Pit's bare chest, "I don't wanna go back to sleep." The dark angel chuckled, "You're being ridiculous." "I'm not!" "It's only dream-" "T-that's not why I want to stay up," Pit huffed. The dark angel raised a curious eyebrow. Pit blushed as he kissed him suddenly.

Dark Pit was taken back, he held the light angel gently. Pit wrapped his arms around his angel's neck. He leaned up against him eagerly. He kissed him longingly, as if he would never get the chance again. "What's gotten into you?" Dark Pit asked as he pulled away briefly. "I realised how lucky I am to have you by my side," Pit explained quickly, "I'd be so lost without you." Dark Pit wasn't sure how to respond, it made him so happy to hear Pit say that. He smiled and kissed the light angel softly. "I'm not going anywhere," he whispered, holding the light angel's face in hands, "Now stop being so cute. I need sleep." Both angels laughed loudly together.

The nightmare was soon forgotten. Pit felt safe in his angel's arms.
