Pit finished stapling up the notices with a loud 'clunk'. Magnus was leaning against the wall beside him. He was in his usual bad mood, but today Gaol wasn't here, so it was even more intense. "It's been a month. Can't you at least pretend to be OK with this?" Pit sighed and checked his watch, there was about two minutes until he had to be at his last lecture for the day. "Can't *you* just accept that I'll never be OK with this?" Magnus crossed his arms. Pit just smiled and patted his arm, leaving it at that. "Speaking of the devil..." Magnus glanced over to his left. Pit swiftly spun around, almost dropping the stapler. Surely enough, Dark Pit was pushing his way through the busy hallway.

"What are you doing here?" Pit asked as he caught his hand and helped him over. "Can't I visit my boyfriend every once and a while?" He smirked as he said it, making sure Magnus was watching before he hugged Pit. Magnus rolled his eyes dramatically. "Aw, that's sweet of you...but I'm really late for my next lecture!" Pit said sheepishly. "Yeah, see you later lover boy," Magnus waved. "Then I'll walk you to the room. Oh, but sorry big boy, you're not invited," Dark Pit winked and took Pit by the hand, dragging him closer.

"Psh, like I'd want to go if edge lord is the escort!"
"Edge lord? Are you trying to start something?"
"Umm...guys..." Pit tried to get between them, but they continued their bickering.
"Ha! So the purple streaks and bad attitude aren't the edgiest thing ever? I'm surprised you haven't got a piecing or tattoo, or something else to add to your 'look'."
"Um, he has a tattoo actually. On his- uh you know what? I'm really late, let's finish this discussion later!" Pit pulled Dark Pit with him and walked briskly away. Dark Pit gave a sneaky middle finger before swinging around to keep up.

"Can't you two just get along?" Pit mumbled, feeling annoyed. "Uh, sorry. That guy just really knows how to piss me off. It really ruined the surprise," Dark Pit frowned. Pit sighed and lifted his head, stopping at the door to the lecture hall. "It's OK...but I really have to go!" Pit emitted, opening the door with his other hand awkwardly, still holding the stapler from earlier. "Hmph, I'll meet you there then," Dark Pit kissed him quickly before Pit dashed inside, leaving him alone in the almost empty hallway. Pit slipped into one of the back seats, his face red when he noticed that some of the others were staring. "Oh man...how am I supposed to focus now?"

"Thank you for that, Pit." "No problem!" Pit said happily, throwing his bag over his shoulder. He was feeling tired, running to stick up the notices was a lot harder than he anticipated. "Oh, I have a letter for you," she barely looked up as she held it out for him. "Uh, a letter? In the secretary's office?" Pit asked, almost laughing. He took it out of curiosity and stuffed it into his bag. "Gotta go, see you, Lena!" He called out, slipping out the door and making a b-line for the door. There was still quite a buzz around the building. He knew that Dark Pit would be less than pleased if he brought Magnus along, so he made his way to the planned meeting place alone.

"Sorry I took so long," Pit emitted, joining Dark Pit at the 3rd bench (From the left) in the gardens. He was sitting on his phone, but quickly pocketed it when he heard Pit approach. "Oh hey, it's fine." He stood up and motioned Pit to follow, "I'll walk you home." Pit smiled and joined him, walking right by his side. "It's really out of your way, you don't have to do this," Pit said after a few minutes of silence. "I want to," he said quietly, taking Pit's hand discretely. Pit felt nervous all of a sudden and gripped his bag strap tighter. It had only been a month, but he felt strangely comfortable around Dark Pit. It was like they had known each other for a lot longer. "Maybe I'm just getting too attached..." he thought, frowning and looking over to the boy beside him.

"Sorry about today. I shouldn't get into stupid fights like that," Dark Pit returned the gaze briefly while speaking. "Oh, don't worry about that. You know Magnus gets like that sometimes."
"Still, I feel bad for making you late."
"Well, I'm sorry for blurting out...you know the tattoo thing. I think we're even," Pit said laughing. Dark Pit chuckled and left it at that.
It didn't take long for them to arrive at Pit's house. The place was deserted, clearly his mother wasn't back yet. "Thanks for that," Pit smiled, swinging around to face Dark Pit. "No sweat. Uh... I can't walk you tomorrow though, I have work," he sighed. "Then I'll pick *you* up! We can get a coffee on the way home," Pit suggested enthusiastically. "Sure, it's a date."

Pit flopped onto his bed and paused, suddenly remembering the mysterious letter. He reached for his bag and pulled it out, looking at the envelope more closely. The sender had written his full name on it, and not much else. "Weird..." he whispered, tearing it open and taking out the sheet of paper inside. He barely took a glance before every hair on his body stood on end. "Wh-"
"WHAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTT?!"
