Pit broke the last target on his row. He wiped the sweat off his brow and admired the result of his hard work.
He looked over to Dark Pit, he was practicing his melee on a dummy. He was concentrating, his movement speed had improved a lot. Pit found found himself staring, admiring his form. The dark angel paused, staring back, "Enjoying the view?" Pit snickered, "Of course."

Pit walked over and examined the dummy closer. "You've almost got it, your last swing is a little weak though," he explained, pointing at the marks on it. "Hmph, you didn't mention that last time." "Well, you had to focus on your first strike. I didn't want to overload you," he said with a small smile. "I can work on two things at once, you don't have to baby me," Dark Pit muttered as he spilt the bow again. Pit watched him silently. "I can't help it, I don't want you to get hurt pushing yourself," he thought. The black haired angel struck the dummy with a determined look in his eye. His first strike was perfect, but his stamina was low. By the time the last strike hit, it was weaker than it could have been. Dark Pit growled and threw his weapon in frustration, "What's the point." He sat down on the bench beside him.

Pit edged over quietly. "I'll try again, just give me a minute," he said rubbing his face. Pit sat beside him, taking his hand in his own. The dark angel didn't react. "I think you're improving a lot. You have great fighting abilities, Pittoo. Don't kick yourself over one combo," Pit said softly. Dark Pit sighed. "I used to struggle with that too. Just keep practicing and you'll get it." "That's the problem." "Huh?" The dark angel rested his head on Pit's shoulder, "I'm just a weaker version of you...that's all I'll ever be." Pit flicked his forehead. "Ow-" "Don't you dare say that. I told you, that's not true. You're not getting it because you get frustrated too quickly. My problem was that I ate too much before training," he chuckled and kissed the top of his head, "We're very different." Dark Pit looked up into his blue eyes, a smile on his face. "You're too nice for your own good."

Pit stood up and brought the dark angel with him. He hugged him tightly. "Let's try again, OK?" He said cheerily. Dark Pit nodded, breaking away to pick up his bow. He faced the dummy again, he took a deep breath and spilt the bow. He struck it again, doing a much better job at using his stamina than last time. "That's it!" Pit encouraged. Dark Pit smirked, "It's like I'm a natural or something." Pit rolled his eyes, "Nice to see your confidence back." Dark Pit lifted the light angel and smiled, "I've got a great teacher, that's why I can be so confident" Pit blushed, "I'm not that good, I just gave you advice..." "I disagree, Professor Pit."
