Chapter 3

•Jimin's pov•

At that moment, y/n stand up. As if on cue, I quickly hide myself behind a tree. I pop my head out a bit, peeking at her. She is taking slow and small footsteps, with her head down. Whenever she walk a short distance, I follow her, making sure I don't get caught. I don't know why I'm following her. I have a thought of protecting her, ensuring that she arrive home safely.

"Park Jimin, what are you doing? Why are you doing this? Gosh...Stop following already." My legs won't listen.

Just then, she pause her steps and turn her head. In a flash, I run behind a tree. My heart keeps beating rapidly. I shut my eyes, praying not to get caught.

"Should I look now? Later? Now? Later?" I don't know what to do now.

Slowly, I open my left eye, then, my right eye. No one is beside me,

"Phew... That was close!" I clutch my heart in relief.

I get ready to peek out again, quietly.

"AHHHH!" I fall onto the ground, with the popcorns scattered all over me.

y/n is....

standing there....

arms crossed....

glaring at me....

"Care to explain?" She throw a icy glare at me.

"I..." I look around, trying to find an excuse.

"I....I went to buy some popcorns. Yeah, popcorns! Ha-ha..." I pick up the box that used to be filled with popcorns.

I stand up, sweeping the popcorns off my clothes. I look up and see that she is still eyeing me.

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"You think I don't know? I saw you from the start." She said.

My eyes widen in shock.

"She knows!!! How?!" I begin to panic.

"How...did you...-" She cut me off.

"How did I know? Tch. I was just testing you and now, you admitted. How great." She smirk.

I silently cursed at myself and smack my lips for spilling the beans carelessly.

"Mr Park. Any explanations?" She said coldly.

"Uh...I...." I have to think of a way to explain without causing a misunderstanding.

"Forget it. I don't want to waste time here. Don't do it again." She turn around and walk away.

I stood rooted to the ground, dumbfounded.

"Did she just....WOW. Wake up, Park Jimin! She is not the kind hearted y/n in your dream!" I shake my head, hoping that she would forget what happened.

I look at the mess on the ground.

"Aish...I have to buy another box..." I clean up the mess before going to the convenience store again.

I'm not curious what he was doing or whatever he was trying to do. He is not worth my time.

"Forget about him, y/n."

-next day in school-

I arrive to school kind of early today. No one is in class yet. I sit down at my seat and take out my books. I'm planning to revise for the next topic beforehand. I read and take note of those parts that seems important to me.
