I'm looking to someone. Someone that takes my breath away.
Ako yung taong hindi madasalin but I remembered one day pumunta ako sa simbahan to ask for someone-- someone that will push me more, someone that will give hope in my life, someone that will not give up on me through my darkest life.
I suddenly smiles.
She looks at me. She's playing with our children, Sebastian Andrew who will be turning 11 in few months and Samuel Adrian who's already 3. I smile genuinely at her. She gives me small laugh and continues to play with our children.
I never ask for this. I mean, I ask but yung mapunta yung babaeng katulad niya sa akin, she is more than from what I prayed for.
"Tay! Tay!" My Seb is shouting at me while jumping. Nakita ko rin na tumayo sila Sam habang karga si Samuel at tumungo sa akin. I can see that Sam is smiling. I smiled too like a teenager, and how she makes my heart skip a beat.
"Yes, 'nak?" I ask Seb, at agad niya naman akong hinila. I look at Sam at the back with a questioning look. But she just winks at me.
God. That. was. sexy.
"Wait wait, why on a hurry, Kuya Seb?"
"Tay?" Nagpamewang siya sa akin. This little kid has a big resemblance to me. "We're going po sa birthday ni Tita Caitlyn diba?"
"Really?" I turn to ask Sam but she just look at me with "you-don't-know-look"
I just shrug.
"Ok, ok go take a bath already. Baka malate pa tayo." I just said dismissing the topic.
Seb jumps and run to the staircase.
I turn to look at Sam and she give me the poker face look.
"Hon, I forgot." Ngumiti ako muli ngunit wala akong nakitang response sa kanya. Nahigit ko ang aking hininga sa mukha niya.
I grab her waist immediately. And kiss the side of her neck.
"Adam nga, may bata oh!" Saway niya ngunit pinagpatuloy ko pa din. Dahan-dahan kong kinuha si Samuel sa kanya. She immediately wraps her arms on my nape.
"Kunware pa si misis ko..." I whisper to her. That made her laugh. The sound that I want to hear for the rest of my life. The sound that will be the reason why I'm also smiling.
I hug her at ginamit ko ang isang kamay para hawakan siya sa kaliwang pisngi.
I am now looking at her, straight in her eyes.
I look at her like she's the most beautiful girl in my eyes.
This is the girl that I will love forever. Sabi nila wala daw forever, but when Sam steps into my life, damn, that moment I do believe that forever really exists.
"Samantha. Ikaw. Ikaw yung babaeng mamahalin ko hanggang sa kabilang buhay. Mahal na mahal na mahal kita, at ng mga anak natin. With all the girls here on earth I chose you and will forever choose you. The love that I received and will be receiving from you will always be a blessing for me. I love you, misis ko." She smiles at me. Yung ngiting nakaka-inlove.
I will never get tired loving this girl.
"I love you too."
She's my home.

SA PAGLIPAS ng panahon, maraming bagay ang nagbago at patuloy na magbabago. Maybe we had to deal with it, part yon ng buhay. We just have to stay strong sa lahat ng problema.
"Sam!" I hear someone's shouting and I see Caitlyn waving at me. Nakita ko rin si Oliver kasama ang anak nila. Tumango sa akin si Oliver.
"Happy birthday!" Masaya kong bati sa kanya.
"Thank you! Gift ko?"
"Nandun kay Seb pala, binalikan nila sa kotse eh."
"Ay yes! May gift ako!" Natawa naman ako sa sinabi niya.
And yes, some people are meant to be, like Oliver and Cait, they need the time. Of course, naging mahirap yun para sa kanila but still if mahal mo yung tao hindi mo basta basta susukuan.
And Mia, she's already recovering sa chemo niya. She also found out na may pamilya pa siya na nasa ibang bansa, and to think that it's his biological dad. We supported the chemo pero tumanggi ang kanyang Dad, madami dami daw siyang kailangangagawing pagbawi sa kanyang nag-iisang anak na babae.
The DNA test we received ay planado. And yes, si Yanna ang nasa likod non. Adam is not the biological father of Mia's son. Yanna? We lost communication. Wala na ring nanggugulo sa amin especially that guy. I just want to forget. I just want to live yung walang bigat sa puso mo kasi hindi kapa nagpapatawad.
Time really heals all wounds.
"Nay!!!" Nataranta ako ng marinig ko si Seb na sumigaw at nakita ko siyang nagtatakbo sa akin.
Hingal na hingal.
"Seb! Oh my god! Anak! What happened? Where's Tatay?" Habol hininga siya at agad na tinuro ang labasan.
Napamura ako.
"Anak, dito ka lang. Call Tito Oliver, okay?" He nods at agad akong tumakbo palabas.
Nakita kong bukas ang pintuan ng kotse at abot abot ang kaba ko.
"Adam!!" I shouted ngunit walang tao sa loob ng kotse. Ngunit pagtingin ko sa labas at bumungad sa akin ang nakangiting si Adam. He's holding red roses. A lot of red roses.
And he's holding Samuel. I hold my breath. And started to cry.
"Hon, why are you crying?" Inis ko siyang hinampas habang niyakap niya ako.
"Nag-alala ako sa inyo! Akala ko kung ano ng nangyare!"
"Sorry na po, misis. I just want to surprise you... Happy Anniversary!" he whispers at ako naman ang napatulala.
I saw Seb also holding a cake.
"Happy Anniversary po, Tay, Nay!" Adam smiles at him.
"Good job, anak."
I cried again.
"Sshh. We love you too, Misis ko." And we both laugh.
The happiness the really makes me feel alive.
This is the family that I've prayed for.
Love is a battle. Sometimes you'll lose or you'll win. But whatever it takes, take the risk, fight the love that you want to be in the end. Sukuan mo nalang kapag nagawa mo nang lahat pero ayaw pa rin. Maybe hindi siya yung para sa'yo or hindi niyo pa time. Again, lahat ng bagay kailangan ng tamang oras at panahon.
But with these men in my life, I will fight for them until the end.
