The sunlight hadn't even streamed through Percy's curtains yet when his phone began to ring. Not his phone on the bedside table, the one that was in a plastic bag in the corner. The one that was screaming bloody murder with a terrible tune.

Percy pushed himself off the bed, still cocooned inside his warm blankets, and rolled over to the phone. Managing to wriggle a hand out to grab the phone, he opened his eyes blearily and blinked at the name on the screen.

Director Fury

Rolling his eyes, Percy answered the phone. "What do you want?"

"There has been an incident in the park, get over here." Fury's voice demanded over the phone. Percy rubbed his eyes and sighed.

"What park? Where? Can I decline?" he asked with a yawn.

"Central Park, and no you cannot." Fury replied bluntly, and then he hung up.

Percy stared blankly at the wall as the beeping noise was emitted from the phone. Resting his head on the floor, he closed his eyes and lamented his position. "It's too early for this," he cried in despair.

Indeed, it was only 6:00 in the morning.

After quickly explaining to Chiron the situation, Percy ran to the stables to find Blackjack. The horse was trying to pick up his apple, which had fallen under a cabinet. Percy laughed quietly when he saw the scene.

"Come on buddy, I have to go somewhere," he whispered to Blackjack. The horse neighed in disapproval and nodded at the apple.

"Get me that apple, and you better be buying me donuts boss. Do you know what time it is?" Blackjack stamped his hoof on the ground sternly. Percy patted his head gently.

"I know, and trust me, I don't want to be awake either. I'll get you a donut," Percy promised. After grabbing the apple, he walked outside, and Blackjack followed him reluctantly. Handing the apple to Blackjack, Percy jumped on the horse and checked that Riptide was in his pocket.

"Alright buddy, let's go," he ushered.

Blackjack started to run and flap his wings, still chewing the apple. Within seconds they were flying in the clear skies amongst the clouds. Percy stretched and yawned again as the wind tousled his hair. "I'm starting to hate Fury," he muttered.

"Same," Blackjack said glumly.

Steve hid behind a bush, his shield lying a few meters away on the pavement. Police sirens wailed in the distance and photography flashes lit the streets. The thing that was stopping him from grabbing his shield was a bunny rabbit.

Yes, a bunny rabbit.

For some reason, a scientist had decided to create a serum that would make anything and everything gigantic, even making it so that the animal had little lasers to shoot at people. Why? They had no idea. Right now, the bunny was hopping happily around, munching on tree leaves and shooting the fences.

Natasha was trying to hunt down the rabbit that had melted her dagger, and Clint was chasing a rabbit that had stolen his bow. Tony, well, Steve had no idea where Tony was. Peeking out cautiously from his bush, Steve ducked and rolled across the narrow pavement into another shrub. Lasers tinged across the concrete, narrowly missing his foot.

The bunny jumped over and sniffed the place where he had just evacuated from. Taking no interest in the small bush, the rabbit hopped away again. Steve waited a good three minutes before running over to his shield and grabbing it from the ground. Now to hunt some bunnies...

"Hey is that new member here yet?" Tony said, his voice amplified by the suit.

Natasha and Clint were too busy fighting to reply, but Steve shouted back, "No he isn't." Tony blasted a bunny out of the way to let civilians evacuate.
