The Avengers, stunned by the flames and the flash of light, didn't notice the water cascading down until it was almost too late. Tony was still sprawled on the ground, and he was able to notice the new waterfall.

"Guys? We're all going to drown, nice knowing you," he said as he flopped down onto the ground, completely resigning to his fate.

Percy waited until the last possible moment to rescue them. It was funny to watch the team members all run from the falling water even though they had no chance of escaping. Holding out his hand, he took a deep breath and suspended the water in the air.

"Took you long enough," Tony shouted from the ground.

Growling, Percy threw a small blob of water on him, watching in satisfaction as he jumped up and shook himself off angrily. "Serves you right," he called, not even caring if Tony heard him or not.

He threw himself back onto the couch, turning on the TV in front of him without even worrying about the signal he would throw up to the monsters. Let them attack them if they were brave enough, he would destroy them anyway.

The lift buzzed after one short episode of Spongebob finished, and Percy waved as his teammates wandered out slowly. Steve had a perplexed look on his face, still trying to figure out what HYDRA wanted, and Tony was nowhere to be seen.

Percy suspected that he had gone off to change his clothes or something.

For some reason, the air between him and the other members was heavy and awkward. Obviously, this was probably because they had just discovered that he was a demi-god and that he was a double agent (even if it was by accident).

Actually, he wasn't sure how much Thor told them.

"So, uh, how much did Thor tell you?" Percy asked them.

"All he told us was that you are a demi-god and that you saved the world," Clint replied hesitantly as if he was still unsure about what was real and what was not.

"Close enough," Percy shrugged. Thor was pretty close.

"How does that work? You're what, 18? And you're already a veteran of some supernatural war?" Steve muttered in complete disbelief. "How does anyone, much less a child, handle that?"

"For one, I'm not a child. And two, we don't," Percy replied softly.

They were interrupted by his cell phone ringing abruptly. The music filled the air quickly, and Percy snatched the phone up before the lyrics could get out.

"What?" he asked, slightly embarrassed.

"It's...well...come to the hospital."

"Thalia?" Percy asked in astonishment.

"It's me, hi. I'm borrowing Annabeth's phone. But Percy, seriously, you got to come to the hospital."

"What's wrong?" he asked, already feeling a weight constricting his chest and clouding his thoughts.

"Grover's...waking up."

The phone dropped out of his hand, clattering to the ground, slicing through the air like a sharpened knife. Thalia's voice still rang out from the phone, but he ignored what she was saying.

He fell to his knees.

This was absolutely impossible. After two years, two years, he was waking up. Percy whirled around, not listening to his teammates ask him what was going on and nearly knocking McFluffy off his shoulder, and he ran to the elevator.
