"Still, you're pretty spry for an older fellow," Tony said to Rogers with a hint of a smirk. Percy groaned in his corner and buried his head in his hands, trying desperately to drown out Tony's voice.
Loki watched him in amusement.
"Steve, shut up," Percy said as they two continued to talk. Stark was clearly attempting to establish some form of dominance, and Steve was....just being Steve.
The soldier gave Percy a hurt look and pointed to Tony, "What about him?" he asked sadly.
Percy gave Tony a blood-chilling glare and growled out, "You shut up too."
Rolling his eyes, the billionaire strolled up to Percy and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. How he did that, Percy had no idea. The plane was rocking around in the sky like a boat in the sea.
"Are you missing home?" Tony asked him. It was obviously a jab at him, and also probably a joke, but Percy wasn't in the mood. Like, really not in the mood.
With a single movement, he maneuvered Tony down onto the seat, grabbed the man's wrist and twisted it behind his back. "Ow, ow, ow. Okay, definitely having a teen tantrum." Tony exclaimed in pain, as he struggled against Percy's death grip.
"I have had two hours of sleep over these two days. I am definitely not in the mood to play with you, Tony." Percy said quietly. Tony gulped.
Releasing Tony and sitting back down as if nothing happened, Percy closed his eyes and tried to get some sleep. He went into that strange state where you're not asleep, but you feel like you are about to get carried off to dreamland.
Thunder crackled in the distance, but he paid no mind to it.
"What? Are you scared of a little lightning?" Steve asked dryly.
Percy was almost a hundred percent sure that wasn't aimed at him, but he opened his eyes anyways. Sure enough, lightning flashed and thunder rolled across the skies. Natasha was busy, her eyes narrowed in concentration, as she tried to not get hit by anything.
That was strange. Percy could have sworn Zeus promised not to strike him down. In fact, he remembered vaguely that the god swore to always let Percy travel in the sunshine and clear skies.
This certainly wasn't clear skies at the moment.
Loki was looking wary, almost worried even. He flinched when the plane suddenly shook, the entire aircraft tilting back and forth like a toy. Percy simply sighed and closed his eyes again, as Tony and Steve both prepared themselves for what was to come.
Honestly, he didn't care anymore.
Percy let the rocking ease him into a gentle state of mind, and hummed in content when he felt himself slipping away. Then, out of absolutely nowhere, Tony's suit started to whir with electricity and energy.
There was a loud clang of metal that sent Percy's eyes flying open again, much to his annoyance. He was just in time to see Stark get punched in the gut with a metal hammer and fly to the other side of the plane.
A laugh flew out of his mouth as Tony smashed into Steve, both of them tumbling to the ground in a heap. His laugh faded when the UFP (Unknown Flying Person) grabbed Loki by the throat and dragged him out of the plane.
"Hey, guys? I think we have ourselves a kidnapping. Well, technically we kidnapped him already, so is this a rescuing?" he called to the back of the plane.
"That being said, that guy could fly really well!" Percy added as he turned to peer out the door. "Huh."
The wind howled as it entered the plane, and Percy could still see the last of the two flying off into the distance. As he sat down again to go back to sleep, his foot caught on one of the loose seatbelts hanging on the floor.
