Meredith's POV
What did he just say? He couldn't have meant what he just said.Moving to Ireland with me was a crazy idea. I mean yes, I would stay with him if he meant it, but that was a big commitment. It's practically like getting married, if we get into a fight where would we go? Neither of us had anyone there to go with. And what would he do there? I was going to go to school, what would he do? He's only seventeen for crying out loud, he couldn't possibly do this. I just stared at him in disbelief.
"You're just saying that in the moment. " I said shaking my head, this was too much.
"Well, I did say that in the moment," he said thoughtfully, "But I mean it."
"You can't be serious." I said just looking down at the floor.
He held my hand and tilted my head so it would be looking straight at him. He locked his eyes with mine. "You mean the world to me, and I will risk anything for you, anything." he said with his eyes piercing into my soul. Could this moment get any more dramatic than it is?
"Did you hear me?" he asks.
"Ye- yes." I stumble the words out of my mouth.
"I love you, more than anything, more than my own life." he says. Those words just broke me into pieces as i just started to let all my pain out. I ran off the street, and God knows where. All i heard was Cameron yelling my name behind me, running after me. I didn't deserve him, in no way did I deserve him.

Cameron's POV
I didn't know what I did, I tried to say all the right things to her, but she just ran off crying. I called after her, I ran after her, but I lost her. I lost my princess, the one thing that I never wanted to do. I searched for her for hours, and I still couldn't find her. It was almost 3 in the morning, and I still couldn't find her. I called her, over and over again, yet she wouldn't pick up. If anything bad had happened to her, I wouldn't be able to live my life, at all.
I wasn't going to give up my hope on looking for her, I went around asking everyone I saw if they saw a girl in a ruby red dress, about a little shorter than me, and I described her beautiful features to them, but I got no luck.
I chose to walk back to the hotel, just in case she was there. As I walked there, I just thought about the first time I laid my eyes on her. The way I saw her sitting in that chair in the police station, seemingly hopeless. I remembered that night, when I stayed with her and watched movie after movie with her. The night where we sat on the beach talking about ourselves. The night where we unveiled ourselves to each other, the night where we showed slight feelings for each other. The day I asked her out. The day she got into a fight at IHOP for my sake. The day we got into the accident and she was so close on not surviving. The night we showed each other our ultimate love. How could she think she wasn't good enough for me? How could she possibly think that? How could she think I can do any better than her? And what hurt the most, is that she thought I would be better off with Stephanie.
I reached the hotel, running to the elevator, and waited for it to open, but it took too long so I just ran for the stairs. I ran to the floor our room was in, ran into our room, and I didn't find her. I searched the whole room, but I found nothing. I sat on the edge of the bed, just wondering what my next move would be, until i noticed something.
Her suitcases were missing, and a note replaced it. I looked closer to the note, which was from the notepad that the hotel gives in every room, and I just stared at her beautiful handwriting.
I am so sorry I caused so much pain Cameron. Please, don't continue looking for me, it's not worth it. Don't go back to LA looking for me, I won't be there. Just remember the good times we had, and remember that I said you deserve much better. Because you do.
~ Love your Past Princess Meredith Brooks
I was crying at the end of that note. and before my tear fell on the paper, I noticed that my Princess shed a few tears of her own where the ink was smudged bu a small drop of water on the word Past. She isn't my Past Princess, she will forever be my princess, and I will find her. I need to.

Meredith's POV
After running for a half hour from Cameron, I went straight to the hotel and packed my things. I changed into some sweats and a tshirt, grabbed the notepad and pen from the bedside table and scribbled my last words to Cameron on the paper. I have been shedding tears nonstop for the past hour, and I didn't know what I would do, but I had to leave him alone.
I ran out the hotel room and went out by the back door. As I left through the back door, I looked behind me one last time, when I saw Cameron at the elevator, pushing the buttons over and over again. He quit eventually and headed for the stairs. It broke my heart knowing it was my last time seeing him, but it was for our own good. I loved him, but he could do better.
It was time to start my new life.
