Chapter 60

Meredith's POV

I wake up to seeing Cameron run his fingers through my hair. I smile faintly at him, wondering how long he's been staring at me.

"Slept well babe?" He asks.

"I don't know how much of good night's sleep you can get with the events of last night to be quite honest with you." I said as I slowly sat up straight in my bed.

"Yeah, I know. It was a crazy night, but I want you to know I always will love you, no matter what happens between us. I will try to keep you mine as long as I possibly can. I want to grow old with you, and if I didn't I wouldn't have asked you to be my wife." He said with his eyes pleading for me to believe him, I just hope I can.

"This is hard for me, Cameron. I love you more than anything, but we need to have a 100% trust between each other. Or else how am I supposed to know that I can spend my whole life with you?"

"I know..."

I got out of bed and took a change of clothes from the suitcase that Calypso packed for me and went into the bathroom. I put the change of clothes on the bathroom sink's counter and noticed a note on the mirror.

It read:

Good Morning Beautiful! You have an amazing day ahead of you filled with wonderful activities do be prepared!

It made me laugh a bit and I brushed my hair, brushed my teeth, did all that fun stuff.

I changed and got out of the bathroom and walked to get my cross body bag and went outside of the room where Cameron was standing.

All of a sudden I felt a weird feeling for him. It wasn't the way it used to be. It was more of an awkward feeling with him. He gave me a small smile as he continued talking into the phone, and I didn't even smile back. I didn't know if I should.

I walked down the hallway and went into the dining hall where breakfast was about to be served. I got a text on my phone from Kale saying everyone was coming down to the dining hall, apparently they had some news... I wonder what that was.

I waited at a table near the balcony, after I got all my food. Cameron is the first one to meet me at the dining table and came sitting next to me. I looked at him, and I just wondered if I will ever feel the same with him again.

He holds my thigh, and looks at me.

"Babe, you okay?"

"I don't know..." I stop looking into his eyes and look at the floor.

Right then, Kale and Calypso walked in holding hands, like the cutie pies they were. I just hope with all my heart things go back to the way they used to be for Cameron and I.

Once calypso sat down, Kale kissed her lips and asked what she wanted to eat. She told him what she would like and he went over to the breakfast tables. Calypso looked over at us and immediately noticed something was wrong with us.

"Guys...? What's up?" Her smile from Kale faded away and now she had a worried look.

Cameron looked around, I could tell he felt like something was wrong too between us.

He got out of his seat and went to Kale and took him outside. Calypso seemed to he surprised by the way that he just left, so she came to my side of the table and sat where Cameron was.

"What wrong between you two?"

"We.... We don't feel the same towards each other anymore.. It's been awkward. As if we just met. I don't understand why..." I said as I shook my head to keep the tears in.

She started to rub my back to keep my calm.

How did we get to this position that we are both in?

Cameron's POV

I took Kale outside of the dining room with his plate of food still in his hand.

"What the fu-"

"I can't do this."

He had a confused face on. "Do what.....?"

"Do this." I said waving my hand between me and Meredith.

"What...? Why not?" He was getting a bit frustrated.

"Because everything is awkward between me and her. And I love her to death and everything.... But maybe I have feelings for someone else, again..."

"Cameron, you're my best friend and all, but this is my sister here. And she means a lot to me. You can't be doing this to her. That's the lamest excuse a girl can get and a lame excuse to tell her the day after you propose to her. Who is this someone else?"

"Stephanie..."

"You've gotta be fucking kidding me..." He started shaking his head with disgust. Oh God, what's wrong with me.....

HAI GUYS!

Okay so I'm graduating today, meaning that this is a new chapter of my life, and I'm very excited for it. And a new chapter means I'll be making a lot of changes to my life. And I mean, everything. Now I know who I should trust, and who I shouldn't. Who I should give my very best to, and who I shouldn't because they'll just stop doing the same to you eventually. I've learned a ton of lessons this year, especially this week. And I want you guys to learn a few lessons that I've learnt through Wild Hearts, so maybe I'll help a few of you beauties out. :)

I want to congratulate everyone who's graduating today, and I want to thank everyone in the wattpad crew ;) on helping me this year. I love every single one of you!
