Blake's POV
She seemed to me she liked what I was doing through her hair. I never imagined me and Mere becoming so close, I thought I permanently lost my chance.
A couple stumbled upon us and it seemed to me they were swallowing each other up. It felt weird hearing that right next to me and Meredith, eventually Meredith pulled apart and looked next to us and just stared at the couple disgustingly. They looked drunk so I wouldn't have blamed her.
I looked at Meredith and she started to blush as if it was the first time I saw her. She looked beautiful, even standing there in the dark.
She pulled a strand of her hair back and I just couldn't help but kiss her cheek, she looked so beautiful.
"You guys just can't get off of each other can you?" I knew exactly whose voice that was and when I turned to see who it was next to me, i was surprised. The couple next to us was Cameron and Steph. I thought he was in the hospital because of this morning but clearly not.
Meredith looked like she was about to strangle him, but her phone started to ring which saved me from breaking his jaw.
"Oh, uh I kind of for caught up in something.... Okay..... I know mark I know....... Alright I'm catching the next flight.... Dammit.... Fine." She hung up and looked at me sympathetically and pulled me outside of the club.
"Umm Blake, I kind of have to go to New York City right now."
Well that was another shocker for the night.
"How come?"
She started to smile.
"Kale is doing something huge. He's proposing to Calypso tonight at midnight."
I looked at the time and noticed that if we didn't leave now she wouldn't be able to pack and get to the airport on time.
"Mere we gotta go now then."
"You don't have to come Blake, it's fine."
"Are you kidding? I need to see Kale do this proposing thing. And most importantly, I need to be there for you."
She came up to me and tippy toed as she kissed my cheek. She cuffed the cheek she kissed then said," thank you for being there for me when nobody else was."
I smiled.
"No problem babe- I mean Ms.Brooks."
She smirked as I held her hand and brought her to the car.
