Chapter 65

Meredith's POV

I still couldn't believe it. Like, go ahead, get over me, obviously I would be upset. But going on and liking your ex, the girl who shot me, the one that freaking tackled me at IHOP?!

I was over it. I got out of my bed maybe in a week since I got out of the hospital and walked into the bathroom.

I finished my business, and went to the sink. Turning the faucet on and splashing my face, I felt a new beginning coming my way. I felt strength after a really long time. And it felt amazing.

I brushed my teeth, washed my face, flossed, and moisturized my face. I walked of the bathroom, and went downstairs to the living room beside the beach view glass doors.

I sat there on the couch, and remembered the night Cameron came to this house for the first time. The night he broke up with Stephanie, and chased me all over the house.

I shook my head, as if it would help me forget those memories and got up. I went near the kitchen, where everyone was sitting there looking stressed. By everyone, I mean Emanuel, Calypso, Kale, Violet and Janice.

As I walked into the kitchen, they were running their hands through their hair or staring at the floor with their arms crossed. They quickly noticed I was standing at the doorway and all stood up in surprise.

"M, you're out of bed. You feeling better?" Asked Kale.

"Yeah... I feel so much better." Everyone started to smile as soon as I said that. It felt good to make everyone happy.

"Good, we just want you to know that you don't need someone to make you happy. But if you feel like you do, all of us are here for you and we will always be there supporting you."

I smiled, and almost let out a year of happiness, but I kept that to myself.

"Thank you guys, u really do appreciate it." I headed towards the fridge and got out some orange juice while everyone was whispering behind me out of happiness.

I turned around and put the carton on the kitchen island.

"So we have a surprise for you." Calypso seemed very excited when Kale said that.... Hmm.

" what's that....?" I always get scared when they have surprises, especially now. I have a bad feeling about this.

"Calypso will take you somewhere tonight... And you'll see then. "

I banged my head against the fridge door, I know exactly where this is going now.

They're playing match- maker.

later that night.

Calypso's POV

I went into my bedroom to get my purse, so I could head over to Meredith's house for the surprise.

I see Kale on my bed, and when he notices me he turns the tv off. Which is weird because some basketball game was on, and he almost never turns the tv off during that.

"Babe, you're going now? Isn't it a bit too early?" He gets off the bed and stands next to me in front of the mirror.

"Well I want everything to go perfect. She needs this, she's my best friend. "

"You don't know how much I appreciate you doing this for my baby sis..." And then he kissed my neck.

We haven't gone too far since the first day at the dorm in Ireland when Meredith and the demon caught us.

We didn't want to upset Mere... I don't know why but it felt like the right thing to do.

"You know I love you right?" He asks.

"Of course I do baby. I love you." I turn around to face him and I kiss his soft lips.

He cuffed my cheeks and kissed my lips, making them meet again. Then he kissed my forehead and whispered into my ear "you're the best thing I could possibly ask for." I look up and smile, and slowly leave the room.

That was weird.... It never happens...
