Chapter 50

Meredith's POV

I wake up on a mattress in a bright green colored room. Everything seems to be blurry, until I finally adjust my eyesight to the afternoon sunlight shining through the window next to me. I hear something movie from the corner of wherever I am, so I decide to sit up and see what's going on and where I actually am. I rub my eyes a little to see a bit clearer, and I make out a dark figure in the corner of the unlit room.

I squint to see who it was, and just as I give up, the figure turns around.

"Oh! Hey sleepy head." The figure was my boyfriend. There goes my serial killer moment.

I yawn a bit, then reply. "Hey. Babe, where are we?" I say looking around to figure out just where we might be.

" Well, we're at your dorm. "

I was a bit shocked that we came to the academy already, I was really hoping to see how it looked like, but apparently not.

"How did I get here?" I ask.

He gave me this look, as if I was the dumbest girl in the world.

"Babe, I carried you in here. " he said as he turned to face the wall again to put something up.

"You could've woken me up."

He turned around to give me another one of those faces again.

"I would never wake you up from your sleep. You were tired, you needed to sleep babe."

I felt my cheeks blushing.

"Umm so what are you doing?" I ask as I got out of my bed to go behind him and wrap my arms around his shoulders.

"I'm just putting everything in it's place for you. "

"Babe, you didn't have to do that. I would've done it myself."

"No, you were tired. And you mean the world to me, so it's the least I can do to help you out here. "

I made him turn around and made his eyes stare into mine.

"I couldn't have asked for a better significant other. I swear. "

This time it was his turn to blush. He looked down at his shoes than suddenly lifted his head and kissed me.

His kiss was sweet, heaven-like. But we couldn't do this now. I quickly pulled off of him and I kissed him on the cheek to make up for what just happened.

"Let's go get some umm.. Dinner..? It seems to me the sun just set and it should be right. "

"Ha, sure beautiful." he said with a smirk. "Here's your keys, to your wonderful dorm." he said as he tossed me the keys. Like usual, I couldn't catch it and it fell right in front of my feet. He came up to me as I sighed at my amazing eye and hand coordination, and picked the keys up for me.

"Hey, since school starts in a week for you to prepare, maybe we should go to the basketball court i saw when we were coming here. It's part of this gym they have near by, and I think you need some help in catching a ball. " He said with yet another smirk.

"Fine, " I said as I rolled my eyes.

I grabbed a slightly heavy sweater from the closet that I saw was already packed with my things thanks to Cameron. It was July, yet it was a bit cold. We walked out the door and went down the crème colored hallway and went straight into the elevator. The two metal doors opened up to the main lobby where a few music sheet and essential stores were just about to close down.

As we were about to walk through the sliding glass door and out of the main lobby, I saw a white and green sign just at the corner of my eye. I turned around as quickly as possible, also noticing Cameron "face-palm" himself.
