Chapter 37

Cameron's POV

It was such a long night.

After what happened to my Princess, the nurse pulled me out of the room. I kept yelling at her, telling her to let me go back inside, but she just wouldn't let me. She made two officers come and take me back to my room, making sure that I wouldn't leave the room without an officer at any time. It was just  complete bullshit. 

I stayed in my room, asking the officers to update me on whatever happens to Meredith. They agreed after an hour of pleading.I would ask every hour if they had any news, but they would just shake their head and wait outside of the door. I waited for hours and hours. I would just surf through the channels, and watch the Dan Brown marathons. I remember when Meredith would tell me how much she enjoyed the books, and how much she loved Tom Hanks in the movie. I couldn't enjoy the movies without her, so I just shut the TV off after watching it for a half hour.

About 2 am, I finally got news. 

Meredith just came out of her operation, and they were going to let me see her in about an hour. Apparently, she had a severe seizure, so they had to do something on her. 

I walked around my room as much as possible, but a nurse would come into my room and make me lie back down on my bed cause' I needed some rest myself according to her. How was  I going to rest when I knew my baby wasnt alright? 

The bitch of a nurse that pulled me away from Mere came into my room an hour and a half later with a sorry look on her face.

"Mr. Davis, Meredith wasn't able to talk this whole time for she was recovering, but she talked for the first time, asking for you." 

I think the lady was going to say something else, but I just ran out of the room.  I went and looked for the room that they changed Mere into. I couldn't find her on my floor so I asked a lady near the elevator behind the desk where she was.

"Meredith Brooks.... hmmm she seems to be in the fourth floor. I can show you where she is if you would like?" she said after she looked through the computer to find her room. 

"Yeah, that would be nice, thank you." i said.

"Of course, right this way," she said as she brought me to her room.  She smiled at me and left me alone to go into the room to see her.

I walked slowly into the door, making sure I wouldn't open the door too loudly to disturb her.

I walked in to see her mom trying to comfort her, but all she would say was no. 

"No, mom, no no no no. stop mom. I dont need this right now, I want to see Cameron;."

I walked closer to her, and then she opened her eyes, as if she knew I was going to be there.

"Youre here... Cam.... I love you." she said, as she tried to gather the strength in her body to say those words. 

" I love you too angel, always remember that. I love you." I said as I kissed her forehead, which seemed to be burning up.

"Excuse me, but we need everyone to clear out the room, we have to do something with Ms. Brooks here." said a nurse at the door.

I held on to her hand and whispered something into her ear, and left the room seeing her smile weakly.

I went back to my room downstairs, but right before I walked into my room, someone held onto my shoulder.

I turned around to see someone very familiar.

Then I realized, he was the man that Meredith called dad her whole life, the guy that was in all of her childhood pictures. But how?

HAI GUYS! okay, so im going to be out of the state all weekend, starting from tomorrow, so I will most likely not be able to update because  I'm going to be super busy the whole time. Sorry.
