Calypso POV
I put away the ring and wiped my tears away before Kale came into the room.
While I was putting on my makeup Kale came just to the room and told me what our plans were.
"Okay, so we aren't going to a movie we are going to go straight to the surprise then we are going for dinner, then ice cream."
"Great that sounds good babe."
He walked into the closet to lock out what he was going to wear while I was finishing up my hair.
I get my clothes ready and look in the mirror. I was wearing a black and white crop top with black jeans and sandals.
When I was about to walk out of the room Meredith came in.
"Hey are you ready for your first date with Kale?"
"Yeah I am really excited. But I found something under the bed that I don't think I should have found."
"What is it?"
"Lock the door. I don't want Kale to find out that I know he has this."
I go under the bed and get this he box and pull out the ring. Meredith seems excited but I show her the name.
"Why does he still have this? You two have been together for years now?"
"I don't know but I think he just has it since he bought it and never returned it or something. Or he is probably going to change the engraving. But Meredith you have to promise me you won't tell him or anyone anything."
"Promise. Now go you are going to be late."
I hugged her and rushed for the door to find Kale leaning against the car.
I slowly walked up to him and put my arms on his shoulders.
"I have never really done this before with anyone."
I blushed because I knew I wasn't lying it was true. I had never really had a really boyfriend my whole life.
"Well I am going to make this really special for you. So shall we go madam?"
I giggled.
"We shall sir." He opened the door for me and we were off.

Kale POV
"You look really pretty tonight. But you always look pretty."
"Thanks sweetheart. So where are we going?"
Calypso was so excited. It was cute to see her like this.
"I haven't seen you this excited since we met."
"Yeah. I think it is long overdue. So where are we going?"
"We are going to see a Live Bollywood show with dancers and singer."
When I said this the look on her face was priceless it looked like I had just told a 5 year old that we were going to Disney World.
"Babe, I love you so much. Thank you. Tonight will be really special."
Calypso kissed me on the cheek.
"Calypso, you are so beautiful and I am glad that you are my one and only."
When we got to the show they served us out dinner and we ate while watching the show. Calypso was singing along with all the songs like it was a music marathon.
When we started going out she made me watch all of these movies which the songs are from. I knew some of the songs but not the words.
When we finished our dinner Calypso decided to sit on my lap for the rest of the night. We talked about the movies and the love stories behind them. We started asking each other question based on the situations that happened on the movies.
"Calypso, if you were in an arranged marriage and you didn't love you to-be-husband as much as you love me, would you run away with me?"
She looked me in the eyes and focused on me.
"Of course I would run away with you Kale. I am in love with you and no one could change that.Totally, completely madly in love with you."
We kissed and we watch the rest of the show. When it was over we walked to the car holding each others hands.
"That the best first date Kale. It was wonderful. We should do this more often. Maybe next we can go to an amusement park with your brother and Meredith."
"Yeah. We can do that." I looked at her. Her face was just so gorgeous. She started to giggle.
"What are you looking at babe?"
"I am looking at my beautiful girlfriend. I love you so much. You have accepted my family as if it were your own. And I love your even more. Thank you for everything." "Aw. Kale you don't have to thank me. I should thank you for all the wonderful things you have done for me over the past couple years.
Remember: Totally, Completely, Madly in love."
We walked back to the car. I could tell that Calypso was tried from her being all excited today. So I decided to skip the ice cream and go home.
