Chapter 73

Hello guys! I just want to say thank you so incredibly much for 10.3K!!! I'm so happy I'm like smiling nonstop! But this update was made by the best author ever, so I thought I would let her write this special 10K update! It made me cry, and hopefully will make you cry too.... Especially knowing the book's ending is only twenty chapters away. Anyways, ENJOY! 😌!

Blake POV

When Alex and I got out of the house. I pulled her over and had her explain what she meant by "Cameron messed with the wrong family"

"Before you came here and Meredith was going to my school, I have known Cameron because he was a family friend. I have an older sister her name is Veronica. She was only older than me by a year, but Cameron had liked her. My parents were against her liking Cameron but she didn't care. She told me that Cameron made her feel special.

Meredith never knew about my sister because my parents had kicked her out of our house and told her to never come back. When Veronica came back she wasn't welcomed into our family. I gave her food and clothes. She came back because Cameron wasn't what she thought, so she didn't want to run away with him. She was never let back into the house til this day. I have no clue where she is and my parents are divorced because Veronica was what put our family together."

She was crying as she told me this story. It was to painful for me and her to handle so I made her stop.

"I knew that I could never tell Meredith because she might think that I wanted Cameron all to myself."

"You are so strong Alex. I am sorry for trying to kill you. I understand now that Meredith needs people like you on her like. Not like me."

I looked down as I said because I knew it was the truth. I need to stop going after her if she doesn't want me.

"Blake, I knew you were the one for Meredith as soon as I saw you two at the recital. She is just too caught up in this whole wedding thing. Give her a couple months if you still like her and start fresh."

"Okay well in the morning we need to tell Meredith that you are still alive and maybe she will forgive me a little. But only if you want to."

"Yeah. I have been wanting to see her the past 5 years."

------------Next Morning------------

We stay in a near by motel until morning. When we had got to the house it seemed like everyone was up because you could hear voices coming from the kitchen.

Meredith POV

This morning I decided to make breakfast for everyone. By the time I finished everyone was up and ready to eat.

The door bell rang and Kale decided to get it incase it was Cameron.

"Umm. Meredith there is a girl here for you. And Blake is here with her. She says her name is Alex."

This can't be.

Alex was dead.

Blake killed her.

"I am coming Kale."

I walked to the door to see what he was talking about.

When I get there I see Alex and Blake at the door.

I start to cry.

I ran up to her and hugged her. Alex started to too.

She felt so real. Her hug was familiar. It brought back so much memories.

"You are still alive. How?"

"Well thanks to Blake he helped me after he tried to kill me. But Mere, Beth is dead. I have been a love all this time. But I didn't know how to tell you." She started to cry even more.

Alex dropped on her knees and both me and Blake went after her as she fell. He touched my hand and then looked at me.

" It is okay Alex. You are here now that is all that matters. I missed you so much."

We stood there for a couple minutes.

"Kale can you take her inside and give her some breakfast. And then take her to my room and let her sleep."

Kale looked at me like I was crazy.

"I am not leaving you here with him." He looked at Blake.

"I will be fine. I just want to talk to him. Please Kale."

"Fine. But just call me or Jacob if you need us."

I nodded. When they left I looked at Blake.

"Can we sit please?"

I pointed to the seats on the porch. We sat and just stared at each other.

"Um. Thanks you for brining her back. It really means a lot to me."

" Your welcome, Meredith. I will do anything for you. Just call me."

" Okay."

We just sat there looking at the flowers and the sky.

"Your beautiful" was all I heard from Blake as I was looking at the flowers.

"What did you say?" looking at him.

"I said you are beautiful. You were beautiful the first day I met you and you will always be beautiful to me, Meredith."

I just looked at him his green eyes were always so beautiful to look at.

"Thank you Blake. But I can't do this."

I get out of the seat but he grabs my hand.

"I love you Meredith Brooks always and forever. I will do anything for you to love me like you did before. I know I have done some things to you that I shouldn't have done. But I was forced to do it. I can tell you have sorry I am for what I did to you. But all I want you to do is love me. Please."

"Blake this is all to much. Will you give me time to thing about all of this?"

"Yes. I will give you all the time in the world. I will see you Meredith."

He let go of my arm and left me there.

Did I actually still have feeling for him?

Was I just thinking that I was in love with Cameron to cover up all the pain he caused me?

I don't want to think about this. My best friend is inside. I need to go eat.
