Go Away

"Go away"
her voice breaking
every time she turns to scream
at the clouded mirror in her hotel room
which main residence consisted of cockroaches
Tears start to fall,
her eyes dilated and bloodshot
"Go away" she whispers,
staring into her broken irises
They are no longer hers
If only they could escape
Through the windows of her eyes
"Please,"
she attempts to bargain with her mind.
speaking in a hushed tone
"Please,
Just crawl from my ears.
Find another mind to break."
But they don't.
They never stop their incessant blabbering,
Their whispers banging around in her skull
She simply can't take it
A fist curls along her side
And in a matter of seconds
The mirror covers the floor, laying on the cold yellow tile
Too dark to look like sunshine
Sharp, scattered reflections
Look up at her
She grabs her hair in her bleeding palms
"Go away" she begs for the last time
Too bad the voices didn't obey.
She crumbles down the wall.
That's when the voices finally reply
"Go away,"
their whispers now a screech
And she obliged.

A/N: I know I've been doing a lot of random (& sucky) free verses lately. Sorry. I really like writing them.
