Centuries ago, thousands of soldiers prepared
For a battle they're destined to lose
Against a great Greek army
With everything to proveOn their way to conquer Athens,
Thousands of feet march on and on
Readying their swords for battle,
Singing their blood thirsty songA king with the worst temper
With no queen by his side
Commands an army too vast to rule,
Taking his not yet victory in strideLittle does Persia know
Soon they will suffer defeat
The reality of a loss to Greece
A depressing retreat--------
