Adjectives

42 6 1

A simple statement
"I am.."
Followed by
Names,
Labels,
Lies
And rarely,
The truth
But that's my job
To tell myself who I really am
And it's your job not to notice
How deep into this pit
I dig myself
Little do you know
You are helping
With a shovel in your hand
Your words hurt
Almost as much as my own do
Funny,
You think you're the biggest bully to me
You think you're the reason
I can't crawl out of bed
Each daunting sunrise
But surprise, surprise
It's actually me,
I win
But don't worry
Mr. Second place
You still drive me insane
With your heartbreaking
Adjectives
But my mind will always be best
At tearing me to shreds

A/N: This poem is actually pitiful. I'm sorry it's written so poorly. It seems my writing gets worse and worse with each update. But hey, whatever. Thanks for reading. :)
