Carefully crafted fingerprints
Accented by masterfully carved grooves
Lining the decaying surface skin cells
Leading a trail to the coated nail
Obviously covered in chipping pigment
Unaccompanied by clean ends but
Sharps disturbances caused by
Erratically bitten down nails
Singing in unison to a tune of my imperfection
