The Titanic (freeverse)

I am the ice berg
I am the ship
My head barely hovering
Above the arctic, frigid water
Swaying side to side,
Anticipating,
Struggling to force my lungs open
And swallow weighted oxygen
Until another collision
Rattles my fragile intestines
And I sink
Hesitantly
Drowning in all the salt water
I am the ice berg
I am the sunken ship
Never to sail again
I am the origin of chaos
And the destruction it causes
I am the story
Of the Titanic

A/N: I was unaware of how to better the vocabulary in this poem. I apologize. I also say "I am" quite a bit. Oops. But I like the idea. And the metaphor, I really like the metaphor :)
