"Happy birthday Jadey!" Mom says,as soon as she hears me coming into the kitchen

"Thanks mom" I say hugging her tightly

Today is the day I'm turning seventeen. Time flies by so fast. Last year I spent my birthday crying and being sad because nobody cared about me except my family,they were always there for me.

"Have you talked to Perrie? Are you doing something today?" She asks me,and I start panicking

"Uh..not really. I will talk to her later" I say putting a small smile on

"Is everything ok,honey?" Mom asks me and I nod.

Today was going to be a long day.

I got my books for next period and all that I could notice was Perrie,laughing with Leigh Anne and Jesy at Perrie's locker. It hurt me. It hurt me seeing her happy,but not without me. I wanted to make her happy. I tried to go and talk to them,but they just left as soon as I came.

Minutes seemed like hours without Perrie. Were we even a couple anymore? We barely talk.

Now I was at lunch,alone with my thoughts. All I see is a bunch of groups,the populars,the nerds and of course,the football team. But I can see only one thing more clearly than the other. Her smile.

The day flew by very fast. The only "happy birthday" that was said for me today came from Jed. I really don't know how he knows my birthday,but that brightened my day.

I was about to go home,when her voice called my name.

"Jade!" She says,and I immediately turn my back to see her in the ocean blue eyes

"Happy birthday baby! I love you so much" she says looking straight into my eyes,then,she kissed me

"Is everything alright?" She asks me,with a concerned tone

"Yes,everything is fine. Is that what you want me to say?" I snapped

"What?" She asks,confused

"You've been ignoring me for days now. But..that's ok..sorry I snapped at you" I say,feeling bad for what I said

"Ok,so I wasn't suppose to say this to you,but we did this because we want to throw you a suprise party!" She says hugging me

"What? Really?" I say,now smiling

She remembered.

"Yes! You aren't mad at me,aren't you?" She asks,sad

I lean in and kiss her.

"Does that answer your question?"

"Let's go at my house. There are a bunch of people there already" She says,after pulling off

We arrived at Perrie's house. There weren't that many people,just some 'friends' that I've made since I moved here.

I was smiling uncontrollably. I felt happy. For the first time in weeks. The only thing that made my sad was the fact that Sophie wasn't here with me. I missed her so much.

"Happy birthday Jade!" Jesy came to me giving me a gift

"Sorry for ignoring you today! You know why we did it now!" Lee says,giving me a present,too.

"Thanks girls for this. I really appreciate it. But you shouldn't have thrown a party" I say,laughing awkwardly

The girls nodded and Perrie came to me.

"Enjoying the party?" She says kissing my cheek

"You missed" I say laughing

She laughs too,then she kisses my lips. I loved her so much.

A slow song started playing,and me and Perrie look at each other,like knowing what the other is about to say.

"Yes I will dance with you" Perrie says,rabbing my hand

We were moving in sync on the dance floor,that was empty. The song was moving along with the beat of our hearts. It felt like the time just stopped for both of us.

After the song finished,she kissed me,and lots of cheers came from the people that were watching us. That's when I saw my mom and dad,looking  at me,with proud eyes. I smile at them. It felt like Sophie was next to them,looking at me with soft eyes and a big smile. I look back at Perrie,and i stare at her for a while.

I was happy.
