"you want peach or blueberry?" josh asked as he sifted through the tea bags in the joseph-dun kitchen.

tyler stopped calling himself 'tyler joseph,' and he stopped requesting josh say 'joshua dun.'
they were getting closer and closer to being back to where they were before each day.
"um... peach, please," tyler smiled, hugging his husband from behind.
"because you're my princess peach?" josh grinned, turning around and kissing his husband's forehead.
"nooo, because you love blueberry tea and there's only one left," tyler giggled.
josh would have protested, but he knew his husband loved peach tea.
"soooo sweet," josh giggled, hugging his husband and kissing his lips before putting the tea bags in the water.
"you're so lovely," tyler smiled, kissing josh's forehead.
josh blushed and smiled shyly, adoring everything about his husband all the way down to his word choice.
they simply hugged and kissed for several minutes until the timer went off, signaling their tea was ready.
josh smiled and took a photo, posting it to his snapchat story.

tyler smiled widely as he saw the post, walking into josh's arms and nuzzling his nose into his shoulder.
"mmm, love you, baby."
"love you more, ty," josh smiled, gently rubbing his husband's back and kissing the top of his head.
the boys still hadn't had sex.
though, it wasn't because tyler wasn't ready. it was because he really, really wanted to wait for the perfect time.

the boys went upstairs hand-in-hand, josh stopping as they reached the door and turning to face his husband, gently cupping his chin and pressing a sweet kiss against his lips.
tyler giggled and kissed joshua back, pulling back with a smile. "you're so handsome."
josh blushed and picked his husband up with one arm, carrying him into their room. he laid down on the bed next to tyler, his laptop in his lap since he had to do some things for work.
before, tyler would be kissing his husband as he tried to work, snuggling up against him and trying to just touch him as much as possible.
but now, tyler just fully sat on his side of the bed, busying himself with tying and untying one of his shoes that were left on the bed.
it honestly kind of made josh sad. he didn't realize how much he loved it. he would always just be annoyed and tell tyler to stop. that was, before his therapy.
"come here, baby," josh said, opening his arm for his husband to crawl under.
tyler shook his head. "n-no, it's ok. you need to get your work done."
josh then closed his laptop and set it on his bedside table. something he would have never done before.
"now will you come be my snuggle bug?" he asked with big puppy dog eyes.
tyler blushed and nodded, smiling widely and crawling into his husband's arms.
"that's a billion times better than invoices," josh giggled, hugging his husband tightly.
tyler blushed and smiled, looking up at his husband and kissing his lips. "i love you."
josh smiled down at him, kissing him back with a wide smile. "love you more, baby."
