the boys just lied in bed and cried, hugging each other closer than they ever had before.

"i love you, tyler," josh said, kissing his husband's forehead.

"i love you more," tyler said, hugging his husband tightly back.

the two woke up early the next morning, their limbs entangled.

"'mmm g'morning, beautiful," josh smiled sleepily down at his baby.

"morning, handsome," tyler grinned, crawling on top of his husband and plopping down on his belly.

josh grunted slightly at the sudden weight, but he soon was smiling again. "last night was..."

"like a dream," tyler mumbled, his smile wife with his eyes closed.

"better than a dream."

tyler smiled and nodded in agreement, his face buried in josh's neck.

"i forgot how incredible it is," he said.

josh smiled and nodded, hugging his husband tightly. "glad you enjoyed it, baby."

"w-would you like t-to maybe try it again tonight?" tyler asked shyly.

josh smiled widely and quickly nodded, kissing his husband's forehead. "i'll gladly do it however many times you want to, honey."

tyler smiled and blushed, nodding his head and hugging his husband tightly. "b-but i-i don't know how to be sexy..."

josh shrugged, not seeing that as true or important. "you are sexy, baby. but, for the kind of sex we have, we don't really need either of us to be sexy. unless, you want that kind of sex," josh said, just wanting to make his husband happy.

tyler quickly shook his head. "n-no, i-i like it better when we're just ourselves," he said. "b-but only if you like it that way."

josh quickly nodded. "i love it that way, ty," he smiled, hugging his husband tightly.

tyler blushed and giggled shyly, nodding his head. "d-do y-you like t-topping? b-because i-if not, i-i can maybe try it o-or we can figure something out..."

josh quickly shook his head. "no, baby. i like topping. but do you want to try it? because that would be perfectly ok, just i didn't think you'd ever wanna top..."

tyler shook his head. "n-no. y-you should top. i-i wouldn't be good at it."

"why not, baby?"

"because you're bigger."

"honey, size doesn't determine if you top or not," josh sighed, kissing tyler's hair. "dominance doesn't either. it's about whatever feels natural and good."

"o-oh," tyler said quietly. "s-sorry."

"don't be sorry, baby. i used to think that was how it worked too," josh said. "i think i'm just naturally drawn to being on top, and you're the same for on the bottom."

tyler nodded, hugging josh tightly.

"but if you ever wanna try topping or just anything different, tell me, baby, and we can do it."

"o-ok."

"i love you, honey. you wanna order room service for breakfast?"

tyler nodded, grabbing the menu from the bedside table.

"m-may i get pancakes?" tyler asked.

"of course, baby. get whatever you want. you don't need to ask," josh said, not understanding why his husband thought he suddenly didn't have any say in their relationship.

"o-ok."

"i think i'm gonna get waffles," josh said, starting to dial the number on the room phone.

"i-i'll get waffles too," tyler quickly said.

"baby, you hate waffles," josh said.

"b-but that way you can have mine too cause i won't eat them."

josh hung up the phone and crawled on top of his husband, gently holding his cheeks. "baby, what's wrong?"

"nothing," tyler said.

"you've been acting strange all morning. what's up?"

"i-i just saw how happy you were last night a-and i really like seeing you smile so much a-and i don't want that smile t-to go away so if i do everything you want t-then it'll stay," tyler said.

josh sighed and kissed his husband's forehead. "as long as we're together, i promise you, the smile is staying. remember what i said about making this relationship all about me?"

"m-mhm."

"what did i say?"

"t-that y-you aren't gonna let it happen again," tyler said quietly.

"exactly, baby. so you get what you want, ok? we're equal, remember?"

tyler just nodded.

"it was in both our vows," josh said, leaning forward and kissing his husband's forehead. "and i'm not breaking those again."
