"happy birthday, sweet girl!" tyler smiled as he walked into his daughter's room.
winnie grinned widely, pushing the covers off of her and standing in her crib, bouncing up and down as she held onto the bars.
tyler giggled and picked winnie up, kissing her forehead and carrying her downstairs, giggling as she continuously kissed his cheek.
"ok, sweetheart," tyler smiled. "what should we do for your big day? jishjish is at work, so it's just you, me and brother, but we'll still have fun."
winnie was honestly pretty sad that her jishjish wasn't there for her big day, but she loved tyler so incredibly much that it was ok:
"i know you said you just wanted kissies and snuggies and colors for your birthday," tyler giggled. "but daddy and i got you some other things. we're just gonna wait until he gets home so he can watch you open them."
winnie smiled and nodded, kissing tyler's cheek.
"aminals!" she yelled excitedly. "aminals!"
tyler giggled at her pronunciation, leading her over to the back window that showed the backyard of their home, it containing a mini petting zoo tyler and josh had decided would be perfect for their daughter.
sure, maybe it was a little overboard, but winnie deserved it. she was the sweetest girl and had never once gotten in trouble for something other than wandering off to go find a new person to hug and kiss and tell that she loved.
"HORSIE, DADDY! HORSIE!" she yelled excitedly, pointing frantically at the tiny horse that was in the backyard.
tyler giggled and nodded, leading her outside and showing her around, letting her see all the animals, taking lots of pictures and sending them to josh.
oh, how they loved their kids.
this would sure be a birthday to remember.

meanwhile, oliver had made his way outside, in only a diaper as usual since he saw the animals and got excited.
he toddled outside, finding a baby pig and plopping down next to it, hugging the animal tightly.
"you should name him, ollie," tyler smiled as he helped winnie pet a sheep.
"lil brown piggy," ollie grinned.
"lil brown piggy is is," tyler giggled.
and so they spent almost all day outside playing with the animals, it going even better than tyler expected.
both kids were incredibly gentle and quiet, always just having a sweet nature to them.
then, joshua came home, and they opened gifts, had ice cream, and returned outside to say bye bye to the animals.
ollie cried.
he really was gonna miss his lil brown piggy.
winnie, however, just grinned widely, waving bye-bye to each and every single animal as they were loaded up to go to their next destination.
"tank ooo for lovey burfday," winnie grinned, meaning to say 'thank you for the lovely birthday,' but nobody minded. it was adorable.
"you're welcome, sweetheart," both tyler and josh smiled. "anything for our princess."
