chapter 78: exploring

"we should go on a hike today," tyler said. "get the kids a little exercise in."

"you mean you and i walk around some forest each carrying a 30 to 50 pound bouncing baby, one who screams and takes his clothes off while one tries to kiss you every five seconds until you give her froot loops to distract her?"

"yeah, pretty much."

josh sighed. "alright. let's do it."

the family decided they would just walk around the area surrounding their cabin so they could be back quickly in case anything happened.

they decided they would let the kids start out by walking, and they would carry them once they got tired.

tyler and josh were both very happy to be able to hold hands.

ollie and winnie held hands as well, waddling in front of their parents as they looked around, both screaming every few minutes because they saw a tree they liked.

tyler and josh were surprised after twenty minutes passed and the kids were still toddling along. especially winnie, who was only 18 months.

but she just kept holding her brother's hand, waddling along side him, a smile on her face as usual.

and ollie did the same, only stopping to try and take his clothes off once, a new record for him. but he kept toddling in front of tyler and josh, holding his sissy's hand as he looked around at all the trees.

so, of course, tyler and josh continued holding hands, not used to being able to do so while with the kids since their arms were typically occupied.

they then stopped for a moment, josh suggesting they carve their initials into a tree.

and so they did.

'j+t' with a heart surrounding it.

they snapped a picture of them kissing in front of it, then continued on.

and soon enough, they were back at the cabin, the kids not having to be carried once.

"wow, guys," tyler said. "i'm impressed."

ollie screamed as a way to show he was proud of himself, giving himself 'clappies.'

winnie just plopped down on the floor, yawning and making grabby hands towards josh.

josh smiled and picked her up, lying down on the couch with her on his chest, the baby quickly falling asleep.

"why daddies nakey this mornin?" ollie asked tyler as he sat in his lap on the couch.

"o-oh! d-daddies were... um..." tyler started nervously, not knowing what to say.

"daddies were showing that they love each other," josh said. "and they showed each other that by making the other feel good."

"wha?!" ollie asked.

tyler laughed and nodded. "yep."

"why nakey??"

"because daddies um... daddies... touch each other," josh said awkwardly.

"NAKEY TOUCHES?!"

tyler blushed and nodded. "m-mhm."

"WHERE DADDIES TOUCH?!"

"booty touches," tyler said.

oliver screamed so loudly that he woke winnie up, the baby just pouting as she snuggled back against josh and fell asleep again.

"NAKEY BOOTY TOUCHES?!"

"y-yep."

"daddies get loud during nakey booty touches," oliver said.

joshua couldn't help but laugh. "yeah, we do sometimes. it's ok, though. it's just us showing that we love each other. but only daddies are allowed to do it."

"nakey nakey nakey nakey nakey nakey nakey," ollie said, wiggling his hips back and forth.

tyler sighed. "yes, ollie. daddies get nakey."

"ollie get nakey," oliver said, taking off his diaper and throwing it to the ground.

tyler just went with it, seeing no use in putting it back on the baby if it was just going to come right back off.

"nakey nakey nakey nakey nakey nakey nakey," he said, continuing to dance.

tyler just held him in his lap, ollie eventually standing on his daddy's thighs and holding his hands while he danced, making tyler laugh. "that's our ladies man," he giggled.

meanwhile, winnie slept sprawled out on josh's chest, snoring softly, josh eventually falling asleep as well.

so tyler was left holding a tubby, dancing, very naked baby all alone. but he really didn't mind. he loved ollie and thought he was absolutely adorable, especially when he got tired because he got really snuggly.

after a solid ten minutes of dancing, ollie plopped down on tyler's thighs, snuggled up against him, and fell asleep.

tyler gently held a blanket over them, holding the baby in his arms as he also fell asleep.

so, the four joseph-duns all fell asleep, tyler somehow managing to find josh's hand to hold underneath the covers, all four family members snuggling up together.
