The Right Decision

I way too fast, but please bear with me, because I just don't want you guys to read a boring chap.

Hardik's pov [After a year]

"Hardik, dad wants to talk to you" Krunal said to him.
"Bhai, what's that?" I asked him.
"Seems like they are planning something" Krunal said.
"Okay, come let's go" we both went down to the dinning table.

Dad was there, sitting there reading the newspaper.
"Man, I'm nervous" Krunal said.
"Sshhh" was the only thing I could say.
"Ahem" dad cleared his throat.

"So, Krunal and Hardik" dad started.
"Yes dad"ee both said.
"Let me come to the matter, You both are cricketers and now I think you both should settle in your lives" dad said.
Did he mean it?
Oh! Shit!!! What the heck is this?
But I promised her.
I should at least keep up the promise.
"Dad first ask if we are okay with your decision, please. Because we have got so much to achieve, and let us do that" Krunal spoke.
He was right anyway, we have soo much to achieve.

"But, we want you both to get married soon, before we leave the earth" dad said.
"Papa please, don't talk about rubbish now, we are here to live and you are a great dad, please don't utter a word or leaving" I turned emotional.
"Okay" dad said and continued "but, remember" dad said.

I don't know wat made dad talk like this.

Krunal and me went up to my room.

"Bro, we should get married?" Krunal asked.

I promised her, I don't want to make it useless, she's waiting, waiting for my reply.

"It's not the right time" I managed with this reply. I'm worried.

It's like I did a Guinness world record without talking to her for a a year or more. I just don't know why, something inside me is saying she's not the right decision, but I'm sick of it. I just want her happy, I just want my best friend to be happy.

After few hours, Pankhuri came home. Came home?? Yea. No shock.

"Did you....." I wanted to ask her about RK aka Ria.

"Did I? What?" She asked.

"Did you meet.... Ria, Ria Kapoor" I asked.

"Yea" she said. I was overwhelmed.

She met her, yes she met her.

"Where did you meet her?" I asked.

"She was there at Nagpur for your last match" she said.

"Nagur? She came there?"

"She didn't inform you?" She asked.

"Yea" I just said.

"Idiot, what do you mean?" She asked.

"What?"

"Yea, she didn't inform me or
Yea, she informed me" she said.

"Anything, I'll go and drink some water" I said and left the place.
I know Pankhuri would have thought me an idiot. But that doesn't matter.
