AT THE END HE LOOKED ME IN THE EYES AND SMILED :D I'll post a concert experience update sometime if ya'll want me too, it's worth reading trust me. Anyways, here is the next chapter! Enjoy***

Hunter's POV

She whipped her head around and met my gaze. "Hunter?" she asked, clearly confused. She looked back and forth between Sam and I, and I could tell he was just as confused as we were. "Yeah, uh, Sam never told you?" I asked, looking at him. She shook her head. "No, was there something I was supposed to know?" she asked, popping her gum as she placed a hand on her hip. You could literally feel the awkwardness around us all. The other band memebers shifted on their feet, unsure of what to do. Sam ran a hand through his hair, confused. "Wait, so you guys know each other?" he asks, stepping up to us.

"Yeah, I met him er, at a meet and greet, before anyone else was let in. Matt let me meet him individually, and uh, things didn't go so well." she said, snapping the last part at me. I looked away. I haven't seen her in what, a month or two? She still has that attitude about her, still rude and somewhat sassy.  If she's gonna be Sam's girl, she's gotta change that attitude soon. I don't know if I could take it for that long.

Sam's expression got all twisted, I could tell he had no idea what we were talking about. "Sam, uh, I know this is probably confusing the living daylights out of you, so maybe it would be better if Melody and I talked over this ourselves for a bit, I think we're just as confused as you." I said to him, hoping he wouldn't be offended that I was asking to  talk to her in private. He nodded his head. "Yeah, that's fine. Go on, I'll be with the other guys. See you." he said, before grabbing his suitcases and walking off with the others to most likely go home. It was just Melody and I now, alone in the parking lot.

"So, uh, how's Nashville treated you?" I asked her, unsure of what to say. Do I just go ahead and ask about her and Sam? Or should I leave that topic to her? She sent me a glare. "I just found out my boyfriend is touring with you, of all people, and you ask me how I like Nashville? We have bigger things to discuss here! And to be honest, I still hate it here." she says, rolling her eyes. "Okay, well then let's discuss them, shall we?" I asked, getting to the point. She nodded her head.

1 hour later- Hunter's POV

Melody and I were currently sitting on one of the couches on the bus. Seeing as there was nowhere else to go besides inside the airport, I decided this was the better choice. "So, Sam never mentioned me?" I asked her, turning to face her. "Nope. Not a word about you, he just said he was in a band and that he was touring." she explained, looking at her bright pink nails. "Hm. Well, he never really talked about you either." I said. Her expression changed, she looked....upset? I couldn't really tell. Either way, she didn't look happy. I felt kinda bad for telling her that, but it was the truth.

"He didn't?" she asked, looking at me. I shook my head. "Not really." I reply, looking down. This is probably the most awkward conversation I've had in a long time. "So," I begin, hoping to change the subject. "what made you decide you were in love with Sam?" I asked. If she's gonna be dating my friend, I want to make sure he doesn't get hurt. She seems like a heartbreaker, just based on her attitude. "That's none of your business!" she snapped harshly, looking shocked that I had asked her.

"Well, Sam is one of my good friends and I was just curious. Plus, based on how you act, you don't seem like you're really committed to him, anyway." I retorted. She scoffed, standing up. "Excuse me? For your information, I am very committed to him. You don't know anything about us, you have no right to go saying things like that. Now if you'll excuse me," she said, walking past me. "I'm going to go find Sam." she declared, making a 'grand exit' off the bus.

Sooner or later, he's not gonna want to go find you, he'll be trying to run away from you. I think to myself, watching as she walked away. I know what I said was a bit rude, but I have a wierd feeling about her. She just doesn't look like she cares enough about Sam to be with him, and I don't want him getting hurt because she was careless and clueless with him. He's had his heart broken before, and it was never fun having to watch him go through things like that.

As I grab my bags and head off the bus, I see Melody had found Sam. They were all the way across the parking lot, and it looked like she was ticked at him. Very ticked at him. Well, this can mean one of two things. One, she could easily dump him right here, right now, or two, she could blame everything on me and make Sam angry with me, not that I have necessarily done anything wrong. I hope. Knowing her, she could probably make up some fake story to Sam, making me look like the bad guy. This will be fun.

Making my way across the lot, I get closer to the two of them. They both sound frustrated with each other. "Melody, I'm sorry but I honestly have no clue as to what's going on right now!" Sam exclaimed, his voice rising slightly, but not enough to cause a scene. Melody huffed angrily, running a hand through her hair. "Well obviously you knew something about it! You know Hunter, why didn't you tell me that? You know I hate him!" she exclaimed, her eyes firing with rage. I must admit, her words did hurt. But I know that I can't please everyone, and clearly not Melody. Sam looked away in frustration. "I didn't tell you because I saw how you reacted when his song came on in that restauraunt when we went on that date a few weeks ago! You looked utterly disgusted, so I figured you didn't like him! He's one of my best friends!" he exclaimed. "Oh, sure! You know Sam, maybe we should just end it between us, seeing as you clearly would choose him over me!" she shouted. "If you're going to act like that, maybe we should!" he yelled back.

Just then, my nose decided to turn against me, and I sneezed. Of all the times I could've sneezed, it had to be now? Sam and Melody turned to face me, realizing I was there. I shuffled awkwardly on my feet. "Uh..how much of that did you hear?" Melody asked, not making eye contact with me. Her cheeks turned bright red, she was clearly worried that I had overheard what she had said about me moments ago. I stiffened up, unsure of what to say. "I heard enough to know that clearly you hate me. You could've just told me you didn't like me, Melody. But hiding it behind my back, then telling someone else because you can't say it to my face, that's...that's not fair. I hope you're happy, Melody." I say, gaining confidence. I stepped up to Sam, telling him goodbye. I then went to Meldoy, and whispered harshly in her ear.

"You got what you wanted, just like you always do."
