Hayley:

Jenna and I had officially been together for a month. I had told her that it was my turn to plan the big night. I wasn't very good at coming up with original ideas for romantic dates, but I couldn't let the relationship be one sided. I figured since we were going to have the day on Wednesday I would plan a fun trip to an amusement park, I guess that isn't really romantic, but it is at least entertaining.

Wednesday morning we went to eat at a little diner in the middle of town. We had little to say to each other before having our morning coffee. Afterwards we headed over to the main event of the day. It was packed with high school students and little kids accompanied by their grandparents. We spent the next 4 hours running around the park riding rides and losing at the games. We grabbed a quick bite for lunch at one of the food stands and then went to see a movie at the nearby cinema.

It was hard to agree on a film I wanted to see a horror movie, it seemed to me like a good excuse to be cuddled up close to Jenna, but she wouldn't have it; she suggested a chick flick, which I had no interest seeing. In the end we settled on seeing a zombie movie. I was so used to seeing zombies that it didn't really phase me, but I pretended to be scared anyway so that I could sit close to Jenna and have her wrap her arms around me.

To wrap the date up we went to dinner at a quaint Italian restaurant that was walking distance from the parking lot where our buses were. It had a much more romantic atmosphere than everything else we had done that day, the lights were dim, the tables lit by candles and the air was filled with the delicious scent of the food.

We sat down at our table. I started reading the menu in my best Italian accent possible, but I hadn't really picked it up the week we had spent in Italy on tour last year, it ended up turning into a British accent. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, even though I knew it was more of an American dish than Italian and Jenna ordered pesto.

We held hands and talked as we waited for our meal. Jenna seemed much more relaxed than she had for a while, she was more affectionate and was smiling more, it was a good sight to see, I had started to worry about her. Everything seemed so right in that moment, I didn't want another second to pass, I would have been so content to be frozen in that moment forever.

"I've really enjoyed hanging out with you today, it was nice to be away from the chaos of tour. I hope we can do this again." Jenna said.

"It's been an amazing day for me too and I'm sure we can find something similar to do on our next day off." my heart started racing as the next sentence came out of my mouth " I really hope I don't mess things up between us when I say this, but I can really see a future with you and this feeling is inevitable to me now, Jenna I love you."

The few seconds as I waited for her to respond seemed to go in slow motion. Her smile grew bigger and she squeezed my hands.

"I love you Hayley."

She leaned over the table, barely avoiding setting her shirt on fire on the candle in the middle of the table, and kissed me. The rest of dinner was spent in a peaceful silence as we ate, we were both savoring the moment.

Once we were done with our meal we locked ourselves in the back room of my bus. We hadn't been sexually intimate since Taylor Jardine had stormed in to the bus weeks before. I was starting to fear that Jenna was cheating on me, but tonight she did not hesitate to pick back up where we had left off.
