Jenna:
Tay lived in a pretty boring part of New York, not the big bright city New York, New York. The next couple weeks, when I wasn't out looking at houses that were for sale within a 45 minute drive from Tay, I hung around with her. She introduced me to her friends, she sung me new song lyrics she had written and we filmed vines (one of our better ones was a spoof of Brendon Urie's positive hardcore Thursdays).
I really enjoyed the time with Tay, but I also really missed Hayley. I used it as incentive to find the perfect place for us to live, the sooner I found it the sooner we could be together for an indefinite amount of time. Once I had narrowed down our choices I told Hayley to come up and help me make the final decision. She arrived late Saturday evening, I met her in front of the motel where she was staying, it wasn't anything special, but it was the only one for miles.
She was happy to see me and was really hoping I would stay there with her that night. My heart was torn, I had told Tay I would be back that night I didn't want to disappoint her, but I also hadn't been able to sleep with Hayley (in an innocent way) and hear her soft tranquil breathing as she slept or be able to hold her in my arms and feel safe knowing she was with me.
I thought about it for a minute. In the end I decided to stay there. I couldn't stay with Tay all the time, I would be moving out soon and she would be by herself a lot more. I called her up and made sure she was okay with it; she told me she would be fine. I ran to Hayley happily and hugged her tightly; I didn't want to let her go, but the cold northern autumn night air made me realize I hadn't brought a jacket with me.
Once inside we got ready for bed and snuggled up under the warm covers. Hayley was exhausted from the long drive, it didn't take her long to fall sound asleep. I drifted much slower to sleep.
The next morning Hayley went to meet with the realtor while I went to check on Tay. When I got to her apartment I let myself in with the key she had given me. The house was dark, the curtains still hadn't been opened, so I decided to do it. As I was doing so I heard a moan from her bedroom, I thought she was hurt so I hurried to her bedroom door and frantically knocked.
"Tay! You okay?"
"I'm fine Jenna, I'm kinda busy right now."
"Are you sure? Can I come in?"
"NO!" she yelled
I heard another moan and realized it wasn't from pain. "Wait is she 'going solo'?" I thought. I walked back down the hall to the living area, sat on the couch and put in my ear buds. While I sat there with nothing to do I texted Hayley asking her what she thought so far; she answered a few minutes later, she said they had just gotten to the first house, but it seemed nice so far.
An hour later Tay sneacked behind me and grabbed my shoulders, causing me to jump out of my skin. When I turned around I caught a glimpse of a young blonde girl walking down the hall on her way out. I looked at Tay, my eyes wide.
"Like 'em blonde huh?"
"I guess so. Why are you here, aren't you suppose to be looking at houses with Hayley?"
"I came to make sure you were okay. I didn't want you to feel like I had abbandoned you last night. Looks like you found someone to keep you company."
"With you out of the house I could finally invite her to my place."
"Finally?"
"I met her a few days after you got here while we were out with my friends. I've been sneaking out after you're asleep and getting back in the morning before you wake up; it's a good thing you like to sleep so much."
"You want me to stay with Hayley tonight too?"
"I wouldn't object, but it would be nice if you called before you came back." she said with a laugh.
"Well, Hayley wants us all to have lunch together tomorrow, so maybe you could just meet us directly there? Feel free to bring your new friend too, if you want."
"Sounds like a plan."
That afternoon I met back up with Hayley and we spent the next three hours deciding what house to go for. We ended up picking a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house with a kitchen/dining area, living room, office garage and patio. Hayley was especially excited about the patio, she planned on throwing as many parties as possible in the summer; it was the only reason we picked such an elegant house, I was trying to convince her on something smaller.
