It's been a very rainy day and you were sitting at home waiting for Jack to get off of work. His dad owned a landscaping company and Jack worked with him. You hated when they worked in the rain, but you knew they would be safe. Jack was texting you all day, and even though they were just little texts here and there, they still made you smile to know that he was thinking about you.
"Hey, baby girl. Just getting off work. Can I come over?" He asks.
"Of course you can my love." Your reply.
"Okay. Lemme get home and showered and I'll be there. :)" After a while, you hear the doorbell and practically run to answer the door.
"Hey, baby," Jack says when he sees you. He pulls you into his arms and hugs you tight. You look up at him and plant a small kiss on his lips. You lead him into the living room and the two of you watch movies for the rest of the day.
