Blood, Sweat, and Tears

Chapter 2

"Everybody be calm. We will find your loved ones and survivors. Please stand clear of the debris!" An officer shouted and brought in paramedics.

"You think it was Cervi's goons who did this?" Cody whispered. We were going out of the mall and luckily no one noticed us.

"I dunno. Most likely Cervi planned this shit. You want to visit him?" I asked with a grin.

"Where did you lock up Cervi?"

"Abandoned house near the beach. I'm pretty sure I made it really well protected."

"You think?"

We rode the Rolls-Royce Phantom and stepped on the gas as hard as I can. We don't want to waste time especially when an infamous leader is kidnapped.

"Well we are here." I said while pointing at a house that is in bad shape.

"This house looks like a piece of shit! You could have at least made it nicer."

"If I did make it nicer, then it will look suspicious dimwit."

As we enter inside, we expected it to happen. Cervi is gone.

"Oh fuck. We are so screwed." He said with uncertainty.

"We could just find him again and kidnap him." I said calmly

"He would expect us stupid."

When did he become a bitch? He is so annoying.

BOOM!

"Shit! We got incoming! A lot of them!" Cody said while shooting at them.

The big guys were equipped with M16 Carbines. They were heavily armored, and were very muscular. Almost too muscular, they actually look hot. Now's not the time to think like that.

"Come out Ray! We know you're here!" One of the men said with anger in his voice. "This is what you get if you mess with the Rolando's!"

I eye Cody and we talked through gestures. I like it when we do that, it just looks cool and no one knows what we are talking about. He signals me that I take out the 4 guys to the right and the 3 other on the left side. He will deal with the men on the center.

He gives me that finger signal. 3.2.1 GO!

I rushed to one guy on the left side. I tried to get the grenade in his right pocket and I was successful. I grabbed my gun and shot him in the knees two times. I know that I'm a badass but I just can't bring myself to kill anyone, plus I'm a girl I can't handle stuff like that.

After shooting the man on the knees, I threw the grenade towards the group of guys on the left while they are distracted by Cody. Even though we have injured badly 4 men already we still got plenty where that came from.

The big guy was not wearing any armor, no guns, no grenades, plus the most disgusting thing, no shirt.

"Getting cocky big fella?" I say with confidence. I'm sure that I can take out a big guy like him. I'll just need to use my skills in hand-to-hand combat.

He just shouts angrily back at me and lands a punch that nearly hit me on the hips. He has devastating power but he is slow when he attacks. I kicked him so hard at the back of the knee that it recoiled back to me. My foot is aching from that recoil and I'm pretty sure I damaged a bone.

Fortunately the guy was recovering from the kick and gave me time to hit him some more. I hit him at all the spots on the body that are vulnerable. I have mastered and memorized all of the less protected spots in the human body, don't even get me started on the spot only for men.

He eventually faints when I landed another big kick at the back of the head. "Who's next?"

Well they clearly didn't listen and all of them went straight to me. I avoided all the tackles except for one. My head hit the floor hard, my back hurts so much also. I thought to myself that he can't hurt a girl but I was clearly wrong.

He punched me at my shoulders, legs and my mouth. He even broke glass shards on top of me and some were sharp enough to pierce my skin.

"You think I give mercy to you?" He says while still punching me. "No, you kidnapped and made our boss suffer you piece of shit!" He said before landing a punch to my chest.

I cough out a little blood after he punched me on the chest. My vision started to become blurry and I can't breathe properly. I fainted and the last thing I saw was Cody fighting the last few men.

I woke up and my eyes took quite a long time to adjust to the bright lights. When my eyes have adjusted already, the first thing I see is a lot of monitors beside me and there was a mask that was helping me breathe properly. After a few minutes a doctor came in.

"Hello is your name Ray?" The doctor asks me. She looks like a nice and kind person, but sometimes looks can be deceiving.

"Yes, where am I anyways? How's Cody? Where is he?"

"I know you have a lot of questions but for now I'll only answer a few. Cody is fine, he has suffered injuries but it would be healed overtime. You are in City Doc's Hospital." She says while diagnosing me.

"How are my results doc? Did I suffer any bad injury?"

"You have injuries all over your body. Punch marks, bruises, but the serious injury is to your chest. We had to put the mask to help you breathe better."

"How long am I supposed to stay here?"

"3 weeks is the minimum."

Great. Now I have to find Cody without getting spotted and then get to Cervi and kill him instead of torturing him and using him bait. We end that fuck once and for all.
