The cold wind breeze blows against my forehead. I can't sleep, my face and mind completely blank from earlier. Is this what love feels like? Or is this even love?

"Hey." Jason wraps another blanket around me. I didn't even notice my body shivering from the cold air.

"Thanks, but no thanks." I remove the blanket and return it to him.

"Don't be stupid." Jason smiles at me, it's such a strange feeling, I feel something I want but not want at the same time whenever I'm with him.

"No seriously, I'm fine. You don't need to worry about a single thing."

"Just take it." Jason laughs and hands me the blanket. He just changed so suddenly, from being a murderer into a sweet yet terrifying person.

I wear the blanket over the jacket that he gave earlier. We both look at the camp fire, the mesmerising flame makes me want to stare at it for hours. Before I knew it his hand was wrapped around my shoulder, he pulls me closer to him until I was so close I can feel and hear his breath.

"I'm sorry." Jason pulls me even closer to his chest.

"Sorry for what?"

"You're father. It's my dad's fault, it's also my fault."

"It's not your fault, you didn't do anything wrong. Don't blame yourself it'll only become worse." Jason uses his other hand and makes my head lean on his shoulder.

Jason sighs. "You're right, it's not my fault."

We do it for such a long time that the wind eventually made the fire go out. My heart racing so fast, I just don't move or do anything.

"Is it cold?" He asks me.

"Not quite."

He wraps both of his arms around me. What in the actual fuck is going on.

"I promise, both of us will come out alive after we finish Lars. Promise." He then kisses my forehead and keeps his arms wrapped around me tight.

Will he just stop? I'm a bit annoyed by it already, but I kinda like it also.

My eyes start closing slowly, I try to hide myself back from sleeping but my eyelids just gave up.

"Wake up!" Cody slaps me at the left cheeck so hard it turns red.

"What the fuck?" I quickly stand up and slap him at the shoulder.

"Well you weren't waking up and I have been trying to 20 minutes ago dumbass."

"Minnesota is 38 kilometers away, so if you have any solution for us to get there faster I would love to hear it." Jason eyes me first.

"Why are you looking at me? I have no fucking idea I'm not smart." I spit it out. I think all of them assume I'm a smart ass but I'm really not.

"Looks like we're gonna have to walk." Jason leads us, we just follow the train tracks hoping to hitch a ride on any train.

We start walking. I look around and all I can see are trees with thick vines and a lot of vegetation around, we just go beside the train tracks for 8 minutes until.

"Oh look it's a train guys." Cody points behinds us as we find an overspeeding train, it was going as fast as me going yo my bed to sleep when I'm very tired.

"Grab on the handles of the containers." Jason finds an open container and pulls me with him. My hand jerked so hard when Jason pulled me that the entire right part of my body is numb.

Jason looks outside and Cody enters our container from above.

"Everyone got in?" Jason goes up the train.

"Yes, maybe. I dunno." Cody follows Jason through the hatch above.

"Hey don't leave me!" I shout at Cody who only points his middle finger at my face and leaves.

As soon as I get the ladder to go up I hear Jason.

"Get down!"

I scratch my head until I open the container door to find a tunnel straight ahead. The train is still going so fast definitely more than the required speed.

After the tunnel I head up the train through the hatch. I see the two fuckheads laying down on their backs while Jason's hand was behind Cody.

"That's the 4th time you saved my life." Cody's face is pale while standing up slowly.

"You're welcome." Jason shrugs and continues to move to the back part of the train.

I look at the train and it looks like a train that holds a lot people and not goods, and I was right. Jason opens the next hatch and sees a full container filled with people tied against the wall with tape covered on their mouths. We drop down then remove the ropes and tapes.

"Thank you!" A woman says while hugging me. Um okay? She probably looks like early thirties late twenties, I really dunno.

"What happened?" Jason asks as he opens the door connecting the container to the rest. He finds more people tied up and removes it.

"Cody and Ray go to the front and stop this train. This train is set up for a bloddy show."
"Do you hear that beeping?" I look around and find nothing suspicious. Just a container with tables and couches just like a regular train.

"This is bad news." Jason opens one of the bags of the passengers and it's a fucking time bomb.

"More bad news." Vanessa and the rest catch up from behind us as she carries a bag and inside is a bomb.

"This whole train is set to blow up in the station." Javièr groups all of the people in one container.

"Any solutions?" Jason runs to the front and sees no one is controlling it.

"Well we can throw the bags out of the window to avoid it blowing up in here." Javièr gets all the bags and piles it up. The entire mound of bags is so big it could blow up a tower.

"Are you stupid? Look outside." I point out the window to show that we're already in Minnesota. "Unless you want innocent lives to be taken, we better not throw it out the window."

"I have a plan. But none of you will like it."
