Blood, Sweat, and Tears

Chapter 11

"I got bad news." Javièr tells us while typing in his laptop. "Jason has another attack coming problem is, we don't know when and where."

"Could you get any leads?"

"Well, there's 3 different places that might get attacked." Javièr closes his laptop and sighs. "Cody's house, another mall, or right here."

"I'll just hope they won't assault my house." Cody calls someone. "Excuse me." Then he goes outside the room.

I'm still covering Kyle's wound from all the bleeding. It's still bleeding badly but he says he's 'okay'.

"Thanks." Kyle says to me while sitting on his bed.

His body is like on steroids, it's really muscular and his muscles are clear and big. Cody opens the door suddenly.

"Hospital in my house is raided." Cody helps Kyle up while we go down to the parking lot. "Tyler is holding them back, we better hurry."

Holy crap. Why won't Jason just stop with this killing people thing? I guess he is bloodthirsty, Jason sounds like a name of a killer. We see another one of Cody's car and we enter.

"Get down!" Cody puts my head down and bullets suddenly started to zoom past the windows. "It's an ambush! Javièr drive!"

Javièr steps on the gas and we were thrown back because of the sudden acceleration of the car, yes I speak nerd language.

"More guys coming!" Javièr looks at his side mirrors. I see a few cars following us with guys armed inside the cars.

Kyle wears a V-Neck with long sleeves and gets a gun, Desert Eagle. He tries to shoot the drivers but it looks like their  windows are bulletproof, instead he shoots at the tires.

BANG!

A tire exploded and the car was losing traction and was going into another car. One car down, 3 more.

"Javièr." Kyle reloads and takes cover. "Go to the side of the car, slow down."

Javièr slowed down and we were side to side with the other car. Kyle shot the driver and they went flying. The car hit a clothes shop and exploded.

"I don't understand how cars explode if you shoot the driver." Javièr says.

"Shut up Javièr, now's not the time." Kyle gets a P90 and loads it.

"Okay, jeez."

We arrived at the entrance of Cody's house and went inside while Javièr and Kyle were shooting at the incoming enemies.

"We'll just stay here, hold our ground." He gets a submachine gun and gives it to Javièr. "You two go inside."

We enter and we see shattered glass, dead bodyguards, blood, and bullet holes in the walls. We go to one of the secret entrances and we see a big hole.

"Looks like they used C4 and found one secret entrance."

We entered and we drop down into a room with a bed and a dead doctor on the ground, looks like the doctor was operating on a bodyguard but he was shot.

A few meters away we see Tyler and Vanessa. Vanessa was shooting while Tyler goes full on ninja, he mostly use his legs instead of his hands. We go towards them while more normal soldiers of Jason flood in the entrance.

"Thank God you're here." Vanessa aims for a guy and shoots. "They're still not stopping going in the entrance."

"How are you feeling?" I ask.

"Let's talk later, right now we have something else to deal with."

The soldiers of Jason eventually stopped going in and we went outside. Everything seems under control already, no more soldiers in sight. I see Kyle and Javièr sitting on a giant rock and I go towards them.

"No more?" I ask Kyle while Tyler, Vanessa, and Cody follow me.

"There's no more incoming. We aren't sure though when they will strike next."

"I feel bad for Cody." Vanessa says and looks at Cody. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. My parents could just rebuild this. I have another place we could stay."

Cody says he will drive his car while we are in it. He says it's going to be a 'surprise'. We drove for only about 45 minutes until we reach a house with two floors and there were guards surrounding the whole area. Cody said something to the speaker and the gates opened, we entered inside.

"So let me guess." Javièr goes to the kitchen and makes coffee. "Your parents used their money to make this."

"Actually I used my own money to make it happen."

I wanted to sleep as soon as my head hit the soft surface of the couch. It was really well decorated inside and there were a lot of furnitures. I took a bath and dressed up in my favorite clothes. Red long sleeves shirt with a bit of color blue pants.

"Guys." I go down from the second floor. "I'll walk outside for a bit of fresh air."

"I'll come with you." Kyle and Cody say at the same time.

"Please. Not again with this nonsense."

"I'll come with you." Cody says first before Kyle says a word.

"Okay then, if you want to change clothes 3 minutes. I'll meet you here."

Cody goes upstairs. I sit down on the couch and maybe slept for a few minutes because my eyes were closed for a long time.

"Looks like you fell asleep." Cody is standing in front of me. "You sure you want to go outside or sleep instead?"

"No I'm fine. Let's go."

Cody is wearing a plain gray V-Neck shirt and pants with Nike shoes. I mean we aren't going to jog, his shoes are meant for jogging.

"You know we'll just walk right?" I ask him and look at his shoes. "Those shoes are for jogging only."

"I know." He simply replies.

We were walking for about 17 minutes until we see a supersoldier.

"Oh shit!"

The supersoldier tackles me with full force and I land with pain. It was really painful and I feel part of my body burning from his tackle. I started to see the supersoldier punching Cody and lifts both of us before fainting.

"Ray! Wake up!"

I woke up when I heard Cody's voice. I immediately search my surroundings and I don't see Cody at all. I was in a dark room with no windows and a cold metal floor. I see my door and it looks like I'm in a cell. It was an iron door and I could see outside. I peeked and I see a large corridor with more rooms, I guess those are cells just like mine.

"Well, well." A voice coming from the corridor said. "Looks like we caught you, Ray Joley."

Oh no. It's Jason again.
