"You sure they're coming?" Jason looks at both sides of the road and it's still empty.

"Cody told me he'll be coming here."

The street is empty with only a small store across us. There are a few houses but there are only a few of them and we're the only ones.

"What are these other houses?"

"Those are squatters. They don't have land near the city so they stay outside instead."

I sit down as my headache still is painful but I don't have the feeling of vomiting already. Jason sits down beside me as we wait.

"How have you been doing so far? How did you escape anyways?"

"Well, Lars tortured me first as you can see." Jason pulls up one of his sleeves and I see a big cut with a lot of small cuts. The big cut has dried blood while the other wounds aren't major. "Then I sneaked out with the help of someone I don't know. He said he was your friend so I followed him into here. He was the one who gave me the details to ride the train going to Minnesota and he was the reason I was alive from Lars."

"Did you ask who he his?"

"I asked him several times but all he said was that to trust him, and he said he's your friend."

Hmm. Now that is weird and suspicious, why would someone help Jason? Most likely that person is involved in our situation right now with Lars. But who?

"You have any guesses about who that guy was?"

"I think it's Cody, but maybe he's misleading us by saying he's your friend, the guy was tall."

Cody is tall, but Tyler is also tall, Kyle is also tall so it could be either of them or someone else.

"You think Lars tricked you by sending that guy to help you out?"

"What is this? Who wants to be a millionaire? You're asking me so much questions." Jason laughs.

I laugh. I think I'm enjoying this, just taking a break and talking about something else.

"Well, from what I know from Lars is that he wants it to be done quick and easy, he doesn't like complicated plans that involves luring the enemy. He's more of a run-and-gun guy."

We did have a conversation, he even told me that Lars purposefully got a knife and stabbed him at the elbow and Cervi helped Jason. He was still Grade 3 that time. While we we're talking I see a van stop in front of us and the window roll down and I see Dan. Cody goes out of the shotgun and punches Jason.

"Ah, shit." Jason's mouth bleeds out.

"What the hell?! Cody!" I see Cody blowing air at his fist which is also bleeding. "What was that for?"

"He kidnapped you, you were lost for 7 hours, 7 HOURS. He doesn't even have a reason to kidnap you."

"I didn't kidnap her, she drank too much beer and I helped her you dumbass." Jason's mouth stop bleeding and he stands up.

"Oh, you wanna start?" Cody shakes his fist, Cody and Jason lock eyes and they are waiting for something to happen.

"Stop." I stand between Jason and Cody. My headache attacks again and I feel warm again. I hold my hand on my head as it is painful again.

"You okay?" Cody comes near me.

"Do I look fucking okay?"

Cody puts his hand on my neck. "Fever. You drugged her didn't you Jason?"

"Why would he do that? Think Cody." I lean against the sidewalk.

Jason sighs. "I'm wasting time, I still have a train to catch." Jason runs back to the house.

"That's what I thought." Cody comforts me as I vomited. It's one of the feelings that I would never want to experience, your throat is just burning from the water and food coming out of your stomach and the overall feeling is just disgusting and painful.

"After your done vomiting let's go back to town. Uncle Dolt is in town waiting for us." Dan helps me go back to the van.

They made me lie down at the back so that I can rest because the trip is 1 whole hour long so I better sleep. All I can see is the inside roof of the car as my eyes close.

"Ray. Ray." Dan taps my shoulder. I wake up and I see that we are beside a house that's big and surrounded by guards.

"Let me guess, Cody owns this."

"Yup." Dan helps me as we enter and I see Vanessa and Cathy talking.

"Are you okay?" Cathy helps me to the bathroom. "What happened to you?"

"Long story. I'll tell you soon when my fever stops and if I've stopped vomiting."

Dan and Cathy lead me to the second floor bathroom and I vomit inside the toilet at least 4 times before stopping.

"You good now?" Dan opens the bathroom door. They locked it so it's just me inside the bathroom a while ago.

"Yeah." I say until I vomit one last time until Dan lead me to a bedroom where Javièr and Kyle were talking. He made me lie down while Kyle and Javièr were sitting on the couch.

"You guys better take good care of my sister, or else." Dan looks at Javièr and Kyle seriously. "I still have something to do. I'll be back soon sis, get well soon." Dan closes the door.

"So, what happened?" Javièr sits on a chair beside the bed and Kyle sits on the bed.

"I'm just pissed."

"Why?"

"Cody punched Jason for no damn reason."

"Well he deserved it right?"

"He was trying to help me."

"How?"

"Let me just explain."

I tell them about all that happened over the past several hours. What really got them thinking is who was the person that saved Jason.

"I think it's Tyler." Kyle says.

"Why?" Javièr and I say at the same time.

"Well, I have been inspecting the surveillance system and I see Tyler come out almost every single day. At first I thought he wanted to go outside to get something but there was this one time that he got back here 2:00 in the morning, he was even injured at the arm and he said that he just tripped and his arm got fractured but I was the only one who didn't believe him. I now check the CCTV cameras everyday to see if Tyler went out, Luckily he didn't go out today but since you're sick we can't ask him questions."

"That's not gonna stop me." I sit up. "Bring Tyler here."
