Blood, Sweat, and Tears

Chapter 32

"It's getting cloudy, just hang tight." The pilot said.

Cody called his helicopter and all of us are in here. The clouds are really thick and we are still 2 hours in the air.

"This will be a long ride." Tyler reclines and covers his eyes. Unbelievably, I didn't want to sleep which is weird since I love sleeping but my body is active and prepared for anything that will happen.

"There's still 6 more hours until we reach HQ."

"Why do we even need to come there again?"

"We can track the caller and warn them about Minnesota attack at the same time."

"How could we track the caller anyways?"

"There's this secret and very useful computer only the HQ has and we call it "God's Eye". It can track anything around the globe."

I have heard rumors about this program, but I didn't believe it because they said it was "God's Foot" instead of "God's Eye".

The helicopter started shaking a little bit as the clouds turned into a storm, luckily for us it wasn't a strong storm and it wasn't as intense as what I see in the movies.

"Guys, Thor is coming." Javièr pointed at one of the clouds and it was a purple lighting instead of white.

"Just shut up." Kyle says.

"I heard a rumor that the U.S Government has this secret weapon, I forgot what it was called but I do know that they can use it to manipulate the weather." There's so many secrets about the U.S Government and it's  projects. Maybe I can have some insight of these since Cody's parents have high ranks in the CIA.

"The government has funded and helped us create this program called "Hand of God".

"So you're basically gonna name all your projects with God's body parts?"

Cody laughs. "Well it's called like that because we can use the project to manipulate the weather."

"What else have the CIA even developed so far? Something that can help everyone."

"We have developed a pill that can cure a lot of symptoms of sicknesses, like head ache, stomach ache, fever, and many other symptoms."

"No way, bullshit."

"It's true, it's called "Reviver". It's still being tested for the past 4 years. It has been hidden from everyone to avoid them stealing the pill. It's still a prototype after all."

"How about a gun?"

"We also have, it's called the XR11. It's a really high caliber weapon but it's like an SMG. The bullets are lethal and the fire rate is also high. Again, still being tested."

"Armor?"

"Also have. We call it "Tanktop". It's literally a tank top. It's kinda like wearing a super tough armor on you."

"Okay fine I give up, you have everything in the CIA."

Cody laughs.

"Storm's clearing." The pilot swerves the helicopter to the right.

Tyler was interrupted with his sleep and his face planted to the side of the helicopter.

"What the hell was that?!" Tyler shouts. His right cheek is a bit red and he's rubbing his face.

"Sorry, we needed to avoid dense clouds as possible so we can see clearly." The co-pilot says.

"No matter how hard I try I still can't sleep. I always get interrupted." Tyler sits down instead and looks outside the window.

"We need to be quicker guys." Cody says to the pilots. "We only have limited time until something happens in Minnesota."

Throughout the whole trip I was just looking outside the window. And the helicopter will often turn unexpectedly and Tyler's right cheek is still getting red.

After a couple of hours we finally reached CIA Headquarters. The front has now changed with Christmas lights and a big snowman on the center.

"What date is it again today?" I ask Cody.

"You don't know? It's December 14, nearly Christmas." Cody looks outside and gets amazed with the lights and decorations.

I have a feeling that on Christmas day a full scale attack will happen, God forbid that to happen though.

We land on the helicopter pad not far away form the building and some guards escorted us inside.

"I.D." The guard asks me.

"Cody talk to him."

"Oh, Mr. Evans." The guard lets us come in.

"Where's "God's Eye" again?" Javièr looks around the building which is also beautifully decorated.

"Follow me, make sure no one else is behind us." Cody and the rest of us enter the elevator.

Cody puts his hand on the 3rd floor button and it scans his hand. A secret button shows up with the number 7 on it, he presses it and the elevator goes down.

"Is it true that God's favorite number is 7?" Javièr asks us.

"I'm not the one who made it." Kyle shoots a look at Javièr. "Ask the person who made it famous and maybe he'll give you the answer."

TING!

The elevator stops and opens it's doors. There's a really long corridor with different doors and machines. At the start there are three doors all with an eye scanner, fingerprint scanner, and face scanner. You also have to input different codes for the doors to open. Next is another door, now with a "Really difficult puzzle to solve." That's what it says on the door but regardless it asked 10 questions about the CIA like "who are the founders", "who was the first director", and a bunch of others.

"I forgot how secured this underground place actually is." Javièr looks around.

Next is a laser scanner. It's lights are so bright that there were even glasses before we entered.

We all passed through and no alarms were turned on.

Next is a puzzle that I don't know or understand how it works. The main idea is to put like different colors of paper in different containers. Cody got right and the last and final door is in front of us.

"Now this one is tricky." Cody starts knocking the door in different locations. The door is big and made of metal.

For a few minutes Cody was scratching his head trying to open the door and it finally opened.
