*** it's one in the morning atm I'm tired I might go to sleep soon***
-Thursday, December 20th-
-Jessica-My kids have been missing for exactly 10 days, I haven't gotten any sleep. The bags under my eyes grow with every passing day. I hope they are okay. Kenneth calls me everyday, to make sure I'm holding up okay, he assured me he'll find them, but I'm terrified. Things started to turn around, just slightly when I got a call from a private number, maybe I can negotiate. I answered the phone, my heart racing.
"Hey babe," the familiar voice sneered.
I had to keep my cool, "take me," I begged my voice shaky.
"We have to meet up, just us."
"Where I'll be there," I asked hopelessly.
"You know the small pond at the opening of Donadea Forest Park," he tells me.
"What time," I said frantically.
"The sooner the better, am I right? How about you go there right now, I'll be watching, your kids are a lot of fun, did you know that? I like having them around. Lauren is so innocent, she likes to explore," he told me.
"I'm heading there now, okay."
"Niall we have to go, we have to get our kids back," I tell Niall grabbing the keys.
He couldn't answer, I was already out the door. He came outside coming in the car with me.
"Can you please explain to me, what's happening," he asked confused.
"He called me, we have to meet him at Donadea Forest Park," I explain to Niall.
"Are you sure this isn't a trick?"
"Niall I'll do anything, to have my kids safe, so we'll find out when we get there."
"Okay," he gives in.
I'm in the driver's seat for a change. Niall sits next to me, his blue eyes filled with fear.
Donadea Forest Park isn't too far. Maybe 15 minutes. It's hard not to just go through all the red lights, but I somehow manage to stop at them, they seem to last an eternity, but once they are green, I step on the gas. I can see the park. I speed up, my heart racing.I race into the parking lot, parking in whatever spot, I see first.
Niall and I step out in unison, slowly walking over to the pond. I take out my phone, waiting for a call. He said he was watching so he should know I'm here.
Just as I suspected my phone starts to buzz in a matter of seconds.
I quickly answer it, "I'm here now where are my kids."
"It's not that easy," he snickers.
"Enough with the games I just want my kids."
"A black van will be coming to pick you up, in a few minutes so just hang tight," he tells me.
"Fine," I huff.
Niall and I wait scoping the area for a black van. It seemed like there wasn't a car in sight. He better not be lying. I don't think he is because like I've said he's always been straight with me. In minutes a black van pulls into the parking lot. I look at Niall and he looks at me. We cautiously walk over to it.
I look inside, the driver is not Mr.Smith so, I guess we are meeting him there, I just want my kids to be back in my arms. They are too young for this. I just hope they are okay and not too much pain has been inflicted on them.
