Jessica
Interviewer: How are you?
Jessica: I'm good, things have definitely gotten better.

Interviewer: do you think of him often?
Jessica: *leaning back on the couch* him* she says distastefully.* Not really, I'd be lying if I said he never crossed my mind. But no I try not to think of him.

Interviewer: when you were kidnapped did he give you necessities to survive?
Jessica: yes and no, at first I got bare minimum to keep me alive. Water and food once a day. After like the third time of being kidnapped he started to treat me like an actual human. Offering to make me food, letting me shower more than once a week. But for my conditions to improve I had to play his game.

Interviewer: was he a good cook?
Jessica: surprisingly he wasn't too bad. He learned quickly what I liked and didn't, if he was nice to me I had to give him something in return.

Interviewer: can you elaborate on what you mean by play his game?
Jessica: like I said if he was nice to me, I had to give him what he wanted. It was manipulative because obviously nothing he wanted me to do, was favorable to me. He had his moments and sometimes we got along, but it never lasted more than a day. He had this sick conception that I liked being there. I feel that if somebody would've invested time in him and loved him, he could've turned out different. It doesn't matter anymore, he's gone.

Interviewer: do you think he's dead?
Jessica: yes, he's gotta be. Honestly the only thing keeping me sane is telling myself he's gone.

Interviewer: *pushing* but how do you know for sure.
Jessica: he's gotta be, he hasn't been seen in so long. I don't know, I just have a feeling.

Interviewer: what would you do if he came back?
Jessica: can we stop talking about him please. But to answer your question, I would probably lose my mind.

Interviewer: would you try and kill him?
Jessica: *looking up her mind becoming distant,* I thought we weren't asking about him anymore. I don't know what I would do. *she answers with a smug smile.*

Interviewer: sorry, how's your family?
Jessica: *smiling* we are good, kids are happy so are Niall and I.

Interviewer: did you think you guys would make it this far?
Jessica: no definitely not, but I'm happy we did.

Interviewer: kids are in school?
Jessica: yup, they are crazy smart. Take after their mother I guess *she says chuckling.*

Interviewer: I'm sure Niall's smart as well.
Jessica: of course he is, it was a joke.

Interviewer: do your kids ever talk about what happened?
Jessica: no, I'm not sure if they ever think about it, we don't bring it up. Maybe things will be different when they are older, but as of right now we treat it as if it never happened.

Tom
Interviewer: how are you?
Tom: good, happy.

Interviewer: have a girlfriend?
Tom: yeah, we've been seeing each other for awhile. Didn't want to have a girlfriend while my dad was in the picture, but now that's he's gone, I think it's safe.

Interviewer: you sound sad when you say that, do you miss him?
Tom: hell no, it's just different. He was all I knew for so long. But I'm happy he's gone, he's a terrible person. Hurt a lot of people including me.

Interviewer: do you think of him?
Tom: not really, I have, just wondered what happened to him. If he's really gone, if we'll all be safe.

Interviewer: did you ever care about him?
Tom: when I was younger, like I said he was all I had for a long time. So I relied on him from a very young age, but as I got older I realized something was off and he wasn't the hero and parent I wanted him to be, if that makes sense.
