**three day weekend***
-five years later-
-December 10th-
-Jessica-
Christmas is right around the corner. Niall and I have 2 kids. One boy and a girl. Dylan and Lauren. The boy being 2 years older. They are still both very young. Today we were taking them to the mall for pictures with Santa. They are both super grouchy this morning, so hopefully the pictures turn out alright. Everything is going pretty okay right now.

Dylan is 5 and Lauren is 3. I have the best family in the world. My kids are happy and so are Niall and I. We've beat the odds. Not sure how we did, but we did. I got Lauren dressed, while Niall tried to tame Dylan. Good thing Niall and I were already dressed and ready to go because Lord knows how long it'll take to get these kids dressed. They can be real pains, but I wouldn't change them for the world. I finally got Lauren dressed, I asked Dylan what he wanted for breakfast. He wanted eggs and crackers. Which was actually very easy to make.

I got out the ingredients and started to make it for them. It didn't take that much time to make. I soon placed their bowls onto the table and started pouring milk in their cups. They soon were both seated at the table, digging into their food. I walked over to Niall with a smile.

"Hey baby," he chuckled.

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing."

I pulled his face down into a kiss as he smiled into my lips. He picked me up and dropped me onto the couch, climbing on top of me. I was laughing so hard, I was snorting.

"Would you stop," I cried out a smile not leaving my face.

"I'm just so in love, Jessica Horan," he laughed.

I'm still getting used to the name Jessica Horan, but one day, it'll hit me that I married Niall fucking Horan.

"The kids are over there."

"So what," he said finally getting off of me.

"Mommy, I'm done," Dylan yelled.

"Okay go brush your teeth, and you too Lauren," I said.

I went upstairs Niall following me.

"What are you doing up here," Niall asked.

"I'm getting my shoes," I answer.

"I need mine, too," Niall says.

"Okay."

I open up my closest looking for the pair I wanted. After a lot of digging I find them. I step out of my closet, walking over to the bed so I can put them on.

Niall comes over to me, picking me up.

"Would you stop, "you know how the line gets, we don't want to be late."

"Who cares, we have all day."

"I care."

Niall, finally got off of me and I was able to put my shoes on. We hurried downstairs to see the kids watching tv.

"Okay guys get your shoes on," I told them.

"Okay, mommy," they chimed. I did not think it would be that easy. Usually they throw a fit.

I grab my pocketbook, as Niall puts his phone and wallet in his pocket.

I waited for them to exit the house, as I followed after them, closing and locking the door Niall unlocked the car door as we all hopped in. The mall wasn't too far, maybe 15 minutes. The radio softly played, I looked out the window trying to calm myself.

Niall pulled into the mall parking lot, I unbuckled my seat belt waiting for the car to finally stop.

Once Niall pulled into one of the parking spots, I stepped out and opened the door for Lauren. She jumped into my arms, I picked her up and spun her around, as she giggled. After a few minutes, I placed her down as we walked to the entrance of the mall. I took her hand in mine. The mall wasn't too crowded.

We silently made our way to where Santa was. It wasn't too far away from the entrance. They pointed at a few things that they wanted. Niall and I spoil them a bit. I just want them to be happy. The line wasn't too long. We got on, there were only like 4ish people in front of us. In a matter of minutes it was our turn. I positioned Lauren on his lap, and Dylan climbed on, too. As I was reaching for my camera, an old lady behind us slipped on the floor and fell.

"Can you hold them for a minute," I asked as Niall and I rushed over to her.

She seemed alright, just a little rattled up. We helped her up.

"Thank you so much," she praised.

But once we turned around our kids were gone along with Santa.

"Oh fuck," I cursed. I knew exactly who it was. My fucking father, it had to be.

"Shit," Niall said while we looked for a security guard. There was one in one of the stores not too far.

"Did you see which way Santa went," I frantically asked him.

"No, I didn't see," he answered.

"He has our kids," Niall added.

I pulled out my phone calling Kenneth, he picked up right away.

"He has our kids, Kenneth, they can't get hurt, I need you," I rambled as tears streamed down my face.

"Don't worry, we will find them," he assured me.

"You have to," I begged my voice cracking.

"I'll call in units right now, where were they last," he asks.

"We were at the mall, in Westmeath, Mullingar.

"Please Kenneth you're my only hope," I sobbed.

"Jessica, I'll find them," he assured me, making me feel the slightest bit better.

"I'm just so scared, I don't know what I'd do if they were to get hurt."

"Jessica I'll find them, I have to go now, but don't worry they'll be back with you before you know it," he said before ending the call.
