Finn POV I guided Nicola into my house. She sat down on my couch. I offered her anything to eat or drink but she denied.
She seems like a nice girl, determined but nice. The creepy thing was that Rachel never told me she had a sister.
"Ok so how are we going to get Rachel back?" I ask sitting down
"Ok, for starters you still need to complete all the task this bastard has planned for you. Do you have any ideas who this person is?" She asked
"No... Rachel doesn't really have enemies. Can I ask you something?" I say looking at her
"Shoot"
It was only now that I released her accent. It wasn't American.
"Where are you from?" I ask curiously
"Scotland, couldn't you tell by the accent?" She asked raising her eyebrow
"That's it! So how are you and Rachel different nationalities?" I ask
"Long story short, Rachel was born first . She was born in Scotland as well but then we moved here. Me, her and my mum were living together but then she had to go because of her Job, we couldn't visit because she was always busy, but we understood that . We promised to phone each other everyday. She probably didn't tell you because she missed us so much. But now me and my mum has got a house here." She said exhausted
"Where abouts?" I ask
"Believe it or not down the street from you" she says smiling
"Well at least you don't need to go far if we need to meet up or talk" I say getting up to get a drink
2 hours past, we were talking about the plan to get Rachel back, plus needing to complete the tasks.
We were talking when Nicolas phone started to ring
Hello Nicola, You have made the wrong move to help mr Hudson, so now that your involved you need to complete the tasks with mr Hudson. Anything that mr Hudson doesn't complete you don't complete either. The next task is: You both need find the bomb, whereabouts is up to you idiots to find Time starts now. Oh shit "Finn we have no time!" She shouts getting up and ransacking the place as if she's looking for something
"What are you doing?" I ask looking at her
"There's a bomb in here somewhere and we need to find it, it was him on the phone. I'm involved in the tasks now so whatever I don't don't complete you don't complete too, so shift your arse Hudson!" She shouts still looking around
I immediately start looking everywhere. This fucking bomb can be anywhere, for fucks sake
It's not fair that a 13 year old girl is in this now, if anything happens to her I won't be able to live with myself
"How long have we got left?!" I shout whilst looking through papers and shit
"I don't know! He didn't say!" She shouts. I can sense the panic in her voice
"How long since the phone call?!" I shout trying to get an estimate of time
"About 3 minutes ago!" She shouts from the living room
We ransack my entire house but nothing.
Nicola ran into my room to see. I trust her, she wouldn't steal anything from me. I've only known her for like 2 hours and I feel like I've known and can trust her with anything
"Finn?!" She shouts
"Yeah?!" I shout from the kitchen
"I can here bleeping" she says
Just then she runs in and asks for scissors
"What do you want scissors for?" I ask
"Just give me them" she says and runs back into the room
I ran into the room.
"It's In there Finn" she says
I look at my cupboard and slowly open it
The time reads 1:09
We've only got a minute to do something with it or we are fucked. She goes towards it and snips all the wires.
Nothing happened
Did she really just save my life?
"Your a smart kid for your age, especially a girl" I say as I wipe the sweat away from my fore head
The phone starts buzzing. She put it on loudspeaker
Well done. Next time you won't be so lucky. Oh by the way Finn, if you don't hurry Rachel will be gone forever. Just look....
