Chapter 49

(Let's just take a minute to say that Nicola and Finn are just two really good pals. I wanted him to have a little sister figure. There's nothing between them. Just a disclaimer. Sorry I haven't uploaded for like 2 days. I have depression and shit is hard. Love you all, Nic x😘)

3 months later

Rachel POV

Today I have my scan to see if the baby is a boy or a girl, I'm hoping it's a boy but I won't love this baby any less if it's a girl.

"Finn, come on babe" I say getting my keys. Finn and I bought a car, it's not like he couldn't afford it, but I don't care about money at all.

"Two seconds babe" he shouts back

After Finn was ready we drove to the clinic. Finn was more excited than I am. I'm showing now, don't get me wrong pregnancy is hard but it's not as bad as everyone puts it out to be.

When we get there Finn takes my hand and walk in together

We get called by a nurse. The excitement racing through every artery in my body.

We enter the room, I lay on the chair thing and Finn sat right beside me holding my hand.

"Ok Rachel, what are you hoping to have?" She asks

"A boy" I say

She just smiled and puts on the cold gel on my stomach, finn clenched my hand tighter.

"Congratulations its a girl!" The nurse exclaims

Finn had tears running down his cheeks and so did I, I'm having a little girl. Me and Finns baby girl.

When we were done we both pretty much ran to the car to tell everybody.

"We're going to be a family" finn days with tears yet again welling in his eyes

"I know and I wouldn't have planned it without you" I say kissing him with all the passion a man could ask for.

When we got home, we had to get ready. My mum invited us over to dinner. We're going to tell them the gender after dinner.

When I was getting ready I put my hand over my bump, and felt it.

"Hey baby girl" I say

Finn walks in and kneels down to my belly and kisses it softly, he then starts talking to my bump as if it were actually here.

"Hey baby girl, I'm your daddy. I can't wait until your hear" he says standing up to face me.

I kissed him quickly before we had to leave

We arrived at my mums house and greeted Michael,mum and Nicola.

"Hey" Nicola says running up to me and Finn hugging us both

"Hey how have you been?" I ask

"Same old, same old" She replies bluntly

When dinner was finished we stood up.

"Mum, dad, Nicola we know the gender of the baby" I say excitedly

"Holy fucking shit" Nicola whispered

"It's a girl!" Finn and I exclaimed in unison

Nicola ran up and hugged us with so much love, so did Michale and mum but Nicolas was by far the tightest.

"Congratulations!" Nicola shouted

"I'm going to be a granny" my mum says I'm disbelief, she says

"Congratulations to you both" Michale says hugging us both with excitement in him

When dinner was over we said our goodbyes, I still can't believe it's a little girl. I hope she's like Finn, also me but it would be cool to see a mixture of Finn and me

"I love you" Finn says tucking into bed

"I love you more" I reply

"If you say so, I love you too baby girl" he says as he puts his hand over my bump and that's how we fell asleep
