Chapter 48

Finn POV

When Rachel gave us our drinks we all snuggled up and watched the rest of the movie. I looked to my left where Rachel was, she was still awake. I look to Nicola but I see she's fallen asleep.

She looks so peaceful

"Hey babe" I say looking down at Rachel snuggled up against my chest as well as Nicola

"Yeah?" She asks

"Is Nicola ok?" I ask, this is the question I've wanted to ask her for ages

"To be honest? I don't know" she replies blankly

"I've got no clue what's going on in her mind right now babe" I say kissing Rachel quickly

"She has been acting different" she says looking at me

"I feel for her rach. I really do" I say honestly

"You two are so close, honestly the bond between you two will never be broken finn" Rachel says stroking my cheek

"She covers up, she's sad but acts happy so that everyone else is happy" I say.

"Talk to her babe, your the closest thing she has right now, she would never open up to me" she says getting up

"Where are you going?" I ask

"Outside to look at the stars, if Nicola were up she would run out naked to see the stars" she laughs

She would

"May I join you? My sexy girlfriend" I say

"Of course my turn on of a boyfriend" she replies winking

I slowly get up and kiss Nicolas forehead

The cold night air hit me in the face, Rachel snuggled up to me as we admired the view above us.

Suddenly there was a shooting star

"Wish" I say to Rachel

"I wish that our baby will have a good and healthy life" Rachel says

"I wish for Nicola to be happy" I say looking up

"You really love her don't you?" Rachel asked me

"Of course" I reply almost instantly

"She deserves to be happy" I add on

When it got too cold me and Rachel stepped back inside to the kitchen I made some coffee

Rachel didn't want any because of the little one so I made her a hot chocolate instead. I had a tea, Nicola showed me how they make it in Scotland and it tasted amazing.

Things will get better for her

I know they will

After our tea we snuggled up again on the couch watching 'bad moms' it was hilarious, it had me in tears because of the jokes in it but not as good as Nicolas I'm afraid

We soon fell asleep together

I woke to beautiful humming to don't stop believing. I look to my left to see Rachel sound asleep, it must have been Nicola. Wow.

I get up and walk into the kitchen to see Nicola drinking her tea whilst drawing constellations on a piece of blank paper

I slowly walk in and put my hand on her shoulder slightly

She jumped a little bit then turned to me and smiled, I kissed her cheek and she kissed mine. I made some tea also and sat beside her

She was going home today

"Mum was asking if you wanted to come to dinner again tonight" she says not taking her eyes away from the paper in front of her

"Sure pumpkin, what time?" I ask sipping my tea quietly

"Around 6" she replies

"Sure" I say watching her draw

Once she was finished she handed me it

I look to the back of it where there was a note

(Finn, I don't know where to start with you honestly.... you've stood beside me on everything. I decided to repay you by naming a star after you. Your a star on your own and you need to shine. I love you so much. Love Nicola xxxx)

I finished in tears, I wrapped Nicola up in a hug.

"Thank you" I manage to say

"I love you so much, I never want to lose you finn. I hope you know that" she says into the crook of my neck

"I love you too, your never going to lose me. You've got me forever. If your ever feeling lonely just look up to the star that you named after me" I say

"I will" she says wiping her eyes

"Your my little star" I say hugging her again
