Chapter 46

Rachel POV

Nicola didn't say anything, she just stared. Fuck. I knew this was a total bombshell.

I mean she's only 13

There was total silence, I still couldn't read her face.

Me and Finn exchange looks.

Suddenly there was movement.

Nicola got up and soon her space on the couch was back to its normal indent.

I heard a door open and close, she didn't leave. But I've got no clue where she is

I'm not angry, I know she's just got me back and now my priority is on me and Finns baby.

Finn looked at me with a guilty face, he turns to me and holds my hands.

"She's just surprised. I'll go and talk to her" he says pecking my cheek and getting up to find my sister

I decide to start on dinner, if there's any point.

Finn POV

I close the living room door to leave Rachel, to do whatever girls do when their pregnant.

I'm exaggerating a little because she's only like 3 days pregnant

I do get where Nicola is coming from, I mean I reacted the ways she is right now. Surprised.

I walk down the huge hall, my house is massive and now I'm just seeing it.

I heard a sniffle coming from the bathroom, I try to open it but obviously it's locked. Duh Finn.

I slightly knocked on the wooden door

No reply

"It's Finn" I say softly

Just sniffles in return

Rachel walks out and hugs me,

"Anything? Where is she?" She asks puzzled to why I'm standing in the hall

"In the toilet babe, and nothing just sniffles" I reply honestly

"I need to go and get groceries, will you be ok here?" She asks me as if I'm 5

"Yeah, I'll be fine babe" I say quickly kissing her in the lips

She got her jacket on and left, Rachel always takes like 1 hour to get groceries so me and Nicola have time to figure this out

"Pumpkin, it's just me and you. Rachel's away to get groceries" I say sliding down the wall next to the door

I knock again

"Please, pumpkin. Open the door. I'm not angry or anything about the reaction. Please just let me in" I say softly and to my honest surprise I heard the door unlock

She didn't open it though

I get up and slowly open the door to find Nicola on the floor, back against the wall and her hoodie pulled over face so I couldn't see her.

She sniffles and I wrap my arms around her tightly.

"It's ok" I soothe her

"Can you talk? Please it's like I'm having a conversation with a ghost" I say trying to make her laugh but fail miserably

She didn't let go of my embrace

"I'm sorry" I barely hear her choke out

"For what?" I ask softly rubbing circles into her back

"Making this such a big deal" she whispers

"Your not, it's just a reaction" I say

"Can I see your face?" I ask looking down to the hooded figure

She didn't respond so I took a chance

I slowly pulled the Adidas hoodie down to see her tear stained face

"I'm going to be alone even more" she whispers barely enough for me to hear but I do

I lean my head on top of hers and let her sob into my shirt.

Fuck I feel awful

"Hey, Your never going to be alone" I say

"That's bullshit. I've been like this for fucking years" she says strictly

I decide not to say anything of this topic

"I'm sorry" I say guiltily

She looked up at me with a puzzled face

"For what?"

"Laying this in you when you've just got Rachel back" I say looking down in Shame

She lifts my head back up and looks into my eyes

"You've done nothing, I'm just overreacting because I'm a selfish bastard and doesn't care about anything or anyone but myself" she says

"You know your nothing of what you just said" I say stern but she shakes her head

"I am because if I wasn't selfish I would have been happy about this but instead I lock myself in a toilet and cry to my sisters boyfriend" she says and cries quietly

I kiss her forehead

"Listen stop beating yourself up, your so special and you just dont know it yet. Your amazing and funny. The list could go on forever" I say truthfully

"I wish there was more guys like you Finn. Your so unique and special. You could make anyone laugh and feel special. Thank you." She says smiling

"There's the girl I know. Your welcome.I just tell the truth. Me and Rachel love you so much, and so does your mum and Michael" I say

I stand me and her up and kiss her Cheek. She gave me a tight hug and walked into the kitchen.

Rachel was still out

"Do you want a cup of tea pumpkin?" I ask boiling the kettle

"Sure, cheers" she smiles and sits

There's the girl I know and love
