Chapter 41

Finn POV
{5 days later}

It was pretty groggy today, me and Rachel were at work together filming our last scene FINALLY.

When we were finished shooting the crew was holding a wrap up party and had invited me and Rachel.

We both agreed, it's going to be fun. Even tho i dont drink, neither does Rachel so we are on the same boat for sure.

It was 5 o'clock and me and Rachel were heading home to get ready.

Rachel has been unusually strange lately, she's just been acting weird. I don't know, it's probably just girl things.

Once we were ready, we still had like an hour left before the party actually started, dont ask me why we got ready so fast because I would like to know the answer to that.

"Have you heard from Nic?" I ask sitting on the sofa next to Rachel, who was fiddling with her watch

"Yeah, she's fine. She was asking for you as always" she smiles

I smiled showing my dimples, Rachel kisses my cheek.

"What was that for?" I ask

"For being the most handsome, sexy, loving man I know" she says wrapping her arms around my neck

Our lips touch, we were kissing slowly until Rachel stopped and ran to the bathroom

I jumped up from the sofa to go and check on her.

She was huddled over the toilet puking her guts up.

I rush over to her and hold her hair back, I start rubbing circles on her back to soothe her. She finally stopped and looked up to me.

"That feels better" she says getting up to clean her mouth with mouthwash

"You ok babe?" I ask

"We can cancel, if your not feeling well" I say waking over to her

"No, I'm ok. You deserve this party, you've worked so hard" she says rinsing her mouth

To be honest I think she should stay in but I don't want to push her buttons.

"Thanks baby" I say hugging her small figure

Once we got out of the bathroom I made Rachel some tea, to try and calm her belly down from the puking

I handed the cup to her and she thanked me with a light kiss on the lips.

"I'm going to phone Nicola babe" I say pulling out my phone and dialling Nicolas number.

I put the phone on loud speaker so Rachel could hear also

(Ring ring)

"Hello" Nicola said

"Hey pumpkin, how are you?" I ask

"Fine, how about you?" She asked

"Brilliant, Rachel can hear you aswell" I say holding the phone to Rachel's mouth

"Hiya rach! How was the other night?" Nicola asked and I could tell that she had the biggest grin over the other side of the phone

"Amazing, thank you. I still owe you one. Why don't tomorrow, since it's the October holidays I'll take you somewhere?" I ask smiling

"Finn, it's fine. You guys deserved it. Don't think for a minute that I don't love the way you guys look at each other. I want somebody to look at me the way you two look at each other" Nicolas voice crackled

I'm kinda stuck in the spot and I could sense that Rachel was almost crying at her words. I never doubted our love for a minute and now a 13 year old is complimenting it. Wow.

"Your older for your age, you know that right?" I say laughing

"I don't know Finn, I'm just.... you know" she says bluntly

I forgot that Rachel could hear all of this

"I'll phone you later pumpkin ok? Me and Rachel are at a party tonight" I say quickly changing the subject

Rachel just sat and listened to the conversation that me and Nicola were having, not interrupting once

"Bye guys, love you's both" Nicola says sadly

I feel like a douchebag right now for some reason

"Bye, I love you too" I say

"Bye honey" Rachel said before I cut the phone off

"There's something up with her" Rachel tells me

I just stay quiet for the time being

I looked at my watch and it was time to kinda get moving

We walked out to the gate and got into the limo

Puck already knew where we were going so he just drove

"Are you feeling better babe?" I ask

"Yeah" she replies kissing me softly

Tonight is going to be good
