Chapter 38

(1 week later)
Finn POV

It was finally the weekend! I've been working all week on scenes up on scenes. I'm nearly done with it to be honest .

Me, Nicola and Rachel were having a movie night tonight since it was Friday. It was 6 pm and Rachel was making dinner.

Nicola walked in and sat on the stool in the kitchen.

"Hey honey, what's up?" Rachel asked

"Nothing, I'm just stressed with school and stuff that's all" Nicola replied blankly

Something was up with her, she was normally happy and outgoing but today she was down. I need to expect that tho, she's a teenager and school is hard

"Don't sweat it kid" I say placing a hand on her shoulder, she just smiled.

I went to go and get a beer out of the fridge when Rachel pulled me aside

"What's up with her?" Rachel asked me

"I have no clue babe, dont push her. School can be hard" I say reassuringly getting my beer

Dinner was ready and Rachel shouted for me and Nicola to come in.

Nicola was unusually quiet, which left us eating in awkward silence. I couldn't take it.

"Are you sure your ok? Your very quiet and you haven't ate any of your food" I say looking at her sad face

"Nah, it's nothing. Just school is really fucking Irritating the shit out of me" she says

"What's happening that's making you frustrated?" Rachel asks calmly trying not to push Nicolas buttons

"Just singing, then classes " nicola said

"Just take it easy" I said holding Nicolas hand

"I'll try" she says

After dinner we wanted to watch a movie. We both let Nicola pick and of course she had to pick a horror film.

"Halloween?" I ask

"Yup, scary ass film. It will proabably scare your balls off. Sorry Rachel you won't get the pleasure of his balls again after this movie" Nicola said laughing

She's back to her old self again which makes me so happy

"Oh god no, don't watch the film Finn. I need your balls" Rachel said sadly

I just laughed

During the film me and Rachel snuggled up. I saw Nicolas face which was sad and depressed looking

"Hey kid.... since Rachel is asleep why don't you tell me what's really going on?" I ask

She looks at me with sad and tired eyes

I got no response

"Why don't we sit in the kitchen?" I ask and she nods

When we got into the kitchen I shut the door so nobody can hear

"What's up kiddo?" I ask

"I'm just alone Finn. There you made me say it" she says with tears in her eyes

"How are you alone?" I ask softly

"Well everybody else is happy. You've got Rachel, my mums got Michael and here I am with no cunt" she says sitting on the worktop.

I really felt so sorry for her right now. She does have a point.

"Do you not have a boyfriend?" I ask smiling

But her face stayed with no emotion

"Finn for one look at me. Two I'm only 13" she says

I didn't know what to say, she's so unique and funny and hilarious and yet she doesn't know it

I just feel the urge to hug her right now

I opened my arms to let her small figure embrace me

She started sobbing into my shoulder

"Finn I know I see you a lot but I don't see you every minute of everyday. I've not seen Rachel in ages except for now" she says wiping her eyes

"I know, it's ok to feel lonely but you need to pick yourself up and say I can do this. You can't always be sad pumpkin." I say trying to cheer her up

"You know you have walls" I say

"What?" She asked confused

" you have walls that certain people need to break down to get onto this side of you. Your the tough one and its ok to feel as tho you aren't so tough" I say wiping her tears away

"You'll never be lonely, I'm always gonna be here and so is Rachel." I say hugging her again

"You know Finn? No wonder people look up to you. Your such a sweetheart and can make anybody feel so much love that they never had" Nicola says fist pumping me

"Anytime pumpkin" I say kissing her cheek

"Let's go and get ready for bed" I whisper

"Finn, please don't tell Rachel about this" Nicola asked

"I won't" I say
