Wasabi's POV: (Iris's Wolf)

I could feel my human's subconscious leaving her, the prickles of white showing in her eyes, as she lost the will to continue.

She fainted.

Before she could hit the ground with a thud, I took over her body, standing in her place on our own two feet.

My eyes appeared out of her own, my growls escaping between my parted mouth. My fangs extending, sharp, and ready to lash out to the person that was gifted to me by the Moon Goddess.

Only to be betrayed in the end.

My eyes settled on a shocked yet worried Reese, and my heart wanted to go out to him, and I had craved for him for so long.

Yet... something like this wasn't meant to last.

Us.

Then my eyes drifted on that witch; Odette.

Without further delay, I stomped over to them, yanking Odette by the hair. Her petrified screams were music to my ears, but I wanted more.

I tossed her body to the wall, as the dry wall fragments crumbled onto her.

I could smell the mixed scents in the air, arousal and blood. Both came from her, and from what I could tell, none came from Reese.

That bitch couldn't make a man hard even if he had a mate.

Pathetic.

Turning over to the man that my human trusted so dearly, and came to almost love, I seized him up, walking around him as if he were prey.

'You betrayed us,' I spoke calmly.

Reese's wolf came out in his defense, '... Mate...' he whispered.

I growled, 'My name is Wasabi, and you are?'

'Luka,' he replied immediately.

'Okay, Luka, why the fuck did you and your human cheat on my human? We gave you everything!  Even when you've hurt us so badly!' I snarled.

'We did not cheat,' he swore.

'Lies! Why was this hoe bag on you then?!' I resorted, the hurt finally showing.

Before he could answer, he pushed me to the side. From the corner of my eye, I could see Odette holding a powdery substance.

Mate fell onto the ground with a thud, unconscious.

I moved away, but before I could move single inch, she blew another in my direction.

And the darkness engulfed me.
