Several years later ~

"Reese, you shouldn't have," I said with a straight face, smirking towards the end.

He rolled his eyes, motioning me into the his car, the Maybach Exelero.

We were going to one of our favorite spots in the city, where the human communities were. Of course, we were mindful that there was a possibility that we would be exposed, so we became cautious on that.

He drove to a small part of the city woods, and as he parked, he picked the picnic basket out of the car.

We walked hand in hand, towards our destination.

Soon enough, Reese and I laid out the picnic blanket and basket. The moonlight shined on us as we enjoyed our spaghetti dinner.

"Hold the what? You cannot be serious," I joked.

He nods, putting down his fork. "Yep. I heard some noises coming from my mother and father's bedroom, so when I opened it, mom and dad covered up quickly. And you know what the excuse was?"

I held in a laugh, "What?"

"He said they were wrestling."

I nearly choked on one of my meatballs. Reese chuckled at my reaction and continued, "So then I said to them, "Oh, okay. Then I'll be John Cena, and then I jumped onto them. Let's just say it didn't end well."

Tears pricked the corners of my eyes, my stomach bubbling up from laughter.

Suddenly, an idea popped up in my head as I blurted out, "Daniel, what should our future pups names me? I'll name the girls, and you name the boys."

Reese smirked naughtily, "I'll name one of our sons, Lucas, or Titus. I don't know, those are the names I could think of."

I scoffed, huffing out, "I was thinking about maybe, Ashelyne or Elias."

Reese had his jaws slacked, "You've thought of good names."

I smiled slyly, "Because I've always been thinking about pups silly. I want probably five pups."

Reese chuckled, smirking slightly.

We spent more time talking and laughing in our date, and decided to start packing up to go home. As we picked up the picnic basket, droplets of rain started to fall.

I snapped my head to Daniel, "Reese, you didn't check the weather forecast?!"

He held picnic basket and placed it down underneath the shade of trees, "Nope, because I had something planned out."

I tilted my head when he offered a hand to me, his other hand pulling out his phone. He put up a song called, "Marry me" by Bruno Mars.

I had recognized it instantly.

I took his hand when he placed his phone back into his pocket, finding his behavior strange.

"I'm all yours tonight..." he whispered.

I rise a brow, curious.

Suddenly, he dipped me down, his chuckle sounding throughout my ears when I let out a surprised squeal. I slapped him on the shoulder and joined in on his laughter.

The rain was pouring, raining like no tomorrow.

We probably looked like idiots, soaking wet in the rain. Dancing and laughing, stumbling like we had no idea what we were doing.

But that's the thing about finding your soulmate.

You can both act like idiots together and the either of you won't even judge.

When the song came to an end, Reese stilled, and didn't move an inch. I stopped dancing as well, standing in front of him.

"Baby, what's wrong?" I asked.

Reese automatically fell to his knees, kneeling to me and pulled out a black small box.

I gasp, my heart stopping for a few seconds.

"Iris, I know when we first met, I was a total jackass. I pushed you away, and I hurt you ... so many times that I'm surprised that you're standing in front of me today. I'm shocked that you even gave me a chance, but I'm so glad you did, because you have given me a part in your life where I can wake up and see your face each and everyday, including your beautiful soul."

I choked on a cry, "Daniel..."

He blinked, swallowing the lump in his throat, "You saved me, Iris. You saved my family, and last but not least, you saved the packs future. You're their salvation, My Salvation."

I was full blown crying now, my hand cupped over my mouth.

Reese angled his neck towards me, showing the ultimate submission. "Will you do me the extraordinary honors and rule by my side as my Luna?"

An alpha was bowing before me, showing his neck to me.

Asking me to marry me.

Who would I be if I said no?

Where I failed to convey my feelings, my body didn't. I automatically kneed before him, and smashed my lips to his, greedily taking everything he could give me.

When our kiss broke, he breathed out, "So... is that a yes?"

I rolled my eyes, "Of course it's a yes! A big fat yes!"

He grinned, slipping the diamond ring onto my left hand. I cried out in happiness, kissing him all over again. He happily took my love, as our bond was finally complete.

They said something about love, that the truth was that everybody was going to hurt you. It's just that you have to find the people worth hurting for.

And I'd say he was worth every pain from day one.

This was our beginning of our forever, and I couldn't wait for the days I would spend with this man.
