Chapter 6: Disappointment

Madison teased me for a bit till the 5 minutes bell rang.

"See ya, and by the way you and Carter are so cute together." She said with a smirk and walked away. I kinda liked that she was teasing me about Carter. Wait, I am going on a date with someone else. I hope Liam doesn't figure out about me and Carter.

I walked to my first class which happened to be with both Liam and Carter! Why did I never notice Carter. I have no idea!

"Hey you!" I heard Carter say to me.

"Hey yourself." I said with a little sass. He laughed and walked to his seat. I looked over at Liam, he looked a little annoyed. I decided that for at least the rest of the day I should stop talking to Carter.

"Okay I signed partners Perry, and Annabeth, ect..., Liam and Kenzie, ect..., and last but not least Carter and Alissa." Mrs. Barley said. Guess that's not going to happen. I saw Liam and he looked down right ferious.

RING

The last bell of the day, finally! I went to my locker and grabbed my things. Geniveive was going on a date with Conner so she didn't need a ride home. After I closed my locker I stood up and was about to head out.

"Wait!" He heard Liams voice yell.

"Hey!" I said happily. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Carter at his locker. How have I never noticed that guy?

"So what are we doing for our date?" I said excitedly.

"About that..." He said sadly.

"I don't think I can do this." He said while looking down.

"What? Why?" I practically yelled.

"It's just I see you with that Carter guy and he makes you so happy in a way I never could," He said, oh so he is still sweet, "and I can't date someone who I don't like anymore, I like someone else." He said. That jerk!

"Oh... Who?" I said annoyed. I mean a girls got to ask.

"Liea." He replied akwardly.

"Oh... well just between us she likes you." I said. I wanted Liea to be happy. Also I think I really like Carter.

"Really?" He asked excitedly.

"Yup, just don't you dare hurt her or I will kill you." I said sarcastically.

"Thanks! Bye." He said turned and walked away. Did I just get dumped. Oh my goodness, I did. I felt my emotions take the best of me. Tears were starting to form. Carter seemed to notice.

"Are you okay?" He asked sweetly.

"No, i, just leave me alone for a bit." I said while tears stemmed down my face and ran out the door. I heard Carter yell after me but I kept runninng.

I sat down in the grass under a tree. I sat there awhile just balling my eyes out.

"Hey are you okay?" I heard a vioce say behind me. It was Patrick. I knew that vioce.
