After Carter dropped me off at home I went to sleep for an hour and then got ready for work. For our uniforms e had to wear a Polo and black pants.
I went into my bathroom and put my hair into a double dutch braid, then touched up my makeup. I checked my phone and I still had about 20 minutes before I had to leave so I went into the kitchen.
"Hey Lissa!" I heard McKayla say as I entered the kitchen.
"Hey Auntie, and BFU!" I said happily back.
"BFU?" Matt asked.
"Best Future Uncle." McKayla translated.
"Oh.... Also thanks!" Matt said and gave me a big smile.
"You are welcome. So what are you up to?" I asked as I sat down.
"Wedding stuff." They said at the same time.
"Oooo! Can I see?"
"Sure." McKayla said as she slide over a giant binder full of stuff. I flipped through and found out the whole plan.
"Speaking about the wedding, McKayla has to ask you something." Matt said while I was still flipping through the pages.
"Well we were wondering if you would be the maid of honor?" McKayla asked hopefully.
"Wait are you sure what about your best friend?" I asked as I popped my head up from the giant binder.
"Ya, we are sure." McKayla said happily and Matt nodded.
"Of course I will." I said happily and stood up gave them both hugs and then sat down.
"We thought you would say yes." Matt said grinning.
"So I have to plan a speech, and the 2 parties?" I asked. They both nodded.
"The speech will be easy, and the parties will be so fun to plan!" I gushed happily.
"We thought you would love it." McKayla said.
"Also Carter said yes for tomorrow." I added.
"Great!" Matt said. I checked my phone and I was time to go.
"Well if you guys are still up and here at 12 then see you then." I said I as I stood up.
"Okay, have fun at work." Matt said while McKayla just laughed.
"I will try." I said before I closed the door. Off to work it is.
